I think Engelbert is such a wonderful person. He has such a sense of humor, so talented. With that beautiful voice, and then he writes the most beautiful prose or poems. On stage, he sings, dances, mixes it up with his band, tells some funny jokes or stories, some are considered classics, he retells them at the closing of a show! Engelbert is absolutely exceptional in EVERY WAY...highly intelligent, kind, humble, the best singer ever (variety, pitch, range, emotion, strength used appropriately), so incredibly gorgeously good looking, an amazing poet, really excellent song writer...he's absolutely adorably lovely to meet in person..amazing shows/performance with great sense of humour....ADORE YOU ENGE and that love for you I know is deserved and appropriately placed. I was 18 when I first saw him. he was so spectacular and looked so great. it was in Youngstown Ohio and was Givin the tickets for free. Since then I have seen him 15 times from Vegas to Albany Ny.
He was so gorgeous at this time and so adorable !! Really funny too !! I love this interview with Mike Douglas and the lovely lady to his left. She was star struck with Engelbert, don't blame her a bit ! He has always been my favorite, the best voice in the world ! I love the way Enge talked so highly of Nat King Cole ! Such a gentleman !
