the moment i saw the cover of hotel for dogs i was assaulted by the thought: "wait, did i watch that movie?". after a frantic google search and a reading the (luckily for me) WAY too detailed plot summary on wikipedia, a can conclude that if i did watch hotel for dogs, i literally did not retain any information from it other than the fact that it exists.

in 2014 my friend from out of state that i met online came and visited me. she brought her DS games and asked me if i wanted Boogie. i proudly said no. after she left, i looked through my games and found Boogie. she must have left it here as a joke.
roughly 3-4 years later, i told her about this. she said that cant be true because... she proceeds to show me a picture of her holding a Boogie DS cartridge.
i did not buy this game. i did not steal this game. i did not know about it before july 2014. i did not clone it, i didnt summon it. its the greatest mystery of my life and i'll never know why its here.

I actually have a storied past with Billy the Wizard: Rocket Broomstick Racing.
One day my sister and I were talking about all the terrible Wii games we had amassed over the years: M&M's Kart Racing, Carnival Games Minigolf, etc... After we got done talking about that, I said "You know what? I'm gonna go find the absolute worst Wii game I can find and I will proudly pay for it with a look on my face that says 'Yeah, I know. Just ring it up.'"
So off I went on my quest to the mall where a failing used game store was, and there I found it, the Holy Grail of terrible Wii games; Billy the Wizard: Rocket Broomstick Racing. I knew I had found a game that should probably be classified as a form of torture. I looked at it, absolutely dumbfounded that the phrase "Never judge a book by its cover." is taken seriously by people who live in the same world as this game.
I picked it up, brought it to the counter, said "I'll be taking this." as proudly as someone buying Billy the Wizard: Rocket Broomstick Racing possibly could and spent $4.00 USD. Shortly after playing it, I applied for disability benefits.

Yes, I did just have the audacity to insult Carnival Games Mini Golf. However, I will concede that it's a great mini golf game and great for multiplayer. It's just that after having played much higher quality games like Bloodborne, Persona 5 and Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, I couldn't help but take a jab at it.

The paws and claws pet spa game on DS was actually really fun after I figured out how to play as a kid. There was genuinely q lot of different things to do, you could even make your own food and collars to sell to owners.

AVGN is still great and I definitely like him, but I’ll always prefer Scott just due to me finding modern humor a lot funnier than humor from 10 years ago.

I actually remember playing Paws & Claws Pet Vet... My parents bought it for my sister, but since we didn't have too many games, my siblings and I ended up playing each others games. I actually got a suprising amount of enjoyment from the game. That said, I was a kid, and it's not like my standards were particularly high.

i remember back when i got my first DS Lite, i'd seen commercials for the Petz games (though it was mainly just Dogz back then) and i really wanted it. when i went to Best Buy, i didn't find Dogz, but i found Nintendogs and got that instead. that's like the opposite of how people get shovelware except i avoided it. definitely the best mistake i've made in my life.
I had both Dogz and Nintendogs but Nintendogs is a better game
