customer puts battery in backwards on 2011 Volkswagen

    I just bought a 1963 rover and was having trouble getting the stereo working, turns out the battery was hooked up backwards. What was weird was everything else was working normally, alternator, stater motor gauges fuses, and one electric seat, only two things didnt work which was the stereo and one electric seat, swapped it over and all works great now😂😂

    People can be confused easily with the terminal positive mix red and black cables..at the 90's a was working at a v.w dealer same problem a shop was connected the battery backwards,damaged the alternator,ECU,sunroof model,etc...

    Umm I call bullshit on this video...
    If you think this is true then go do it to you vehicle and see what happens.
    I want to find this car and try this cause last time I was drunk and did it I had fire works in my garage blew fuses and more.

      100 percent true, it was a really weird deal I've never seen it happen before it blew the alternator fuse. and made the horn sound the whole time it was connected.

      @@fixergood well ok then I stand corrected good sir. Now that sounds more like a bad battery connection. I didn't catch the alternator part mentioned. I thought just the horn was going off. My apologies

    The posts are different sizes. It's extremely difficult to connect it backwards, you'd have to do it on purpose

      it' happened ,it blew the main fuse that powered the alternator. and made the horn sound.
