Why not play Kyogo on the wing and Idah through the middle?

Good lad (is that allowed?) great analysis as ever I agree with dropping Kyogo but it breaks my heart to see his speed and skill being wasted at a time when these qualities are so lacking in our team.

For that to be true you’d have to posit that all his mindfulness and meditation commitment is bluster and bullshit.

Palma is a better option than Maeda only if he has his brain in gear and goes outside the opposition defence, not always keep cutting in.
We need to push hard from the start of matches, play at pace, and keep doing it. Not start passing sideways.
Dundee are a team we ought to beat but nobody owes us anything. We have to play well enough to put teams under pressure. Too often the opposition sit deep and are comfortable because we slow everything down.
We can't afford to drop any more points. Rangers are strong. They won't mess up against other teams. The league will be gone if we drop any points against other teams. Then...we have to beat them in both remaining derby games too.

Silly i know, but if idah up top what about kyogo wide as an option, his work rate be fine and sure his delivery won't be too bad. Also can get in behind from the wider angel possibly easier. He scores the 2 meada missed for sure. Like maeda but kyogo be more clinical possibly. .just an idea but never happen I guess

Yes, he can defend, I'm sure, as his work rate is 2md only to maeda. Just an option. Yes he is a striker fully aware but will he do less than abada, palma, mj (on loan), forrest, or any other of the 100 winger we have ?

Maedas is honking nae technical ability, misses sitters , can't cross the ball. Give me palmas quality over maeda speed all day everyday wouldn't never play maeda as a winger again even look at his stats this season there pish like him get back to Japan ASAP.
If o Riley is tired take him out for a game or 2 and mcgregor hasn't dictated anything since the rangers game so he needs to get a grip of these games and take responsibility on the ball.

Palma over Maeda all day long tomorrow night; the relentless headless chicken routine has ran its course, it's not even remotely effective anymore as a high-press option against dross opposition. Palma still thinks he's prime CR7, but he does have shades of magic in him at 'times', can deliver a wicked final ball and has a goal in him. 2-0 to the Champions! 💚

I just think our wingers have been so ineffective, why not get more of our best players on the pitch. O'Riley maybe wasted on the left, but then again he would provide more quality crosses in for Idah especially.

I'd have Kyogo on the left wing. Patience with Maeda is done. If we don't need a defensive midfielder at home to Dundee then we also don't need a defensive winger. Kyogo will be much better at unlocking a low block.

In my opinion I think maeda is wasting his chances he just like to play instead of doing playing backwards he will be ending up getting away with it but Luis palma he’s good at doing corners into a box instead of doing cutting the ball into the box but idah should be in front and I did put Kyogo in LW and iwata in RW no wasting chances of daizen maeda don’t want to se scrappy mistake so that I use Luis palma happy with Adam idah in previous game 4:0 Celtic HH

It's bizarre and needless jibes at Scales who by a process of elimination is in the top 3 for POTY at Celtic. Also no mention from Sunday about how after being left 1V1 with an attacker driving into the box first half not dissimilar to Miovski vs Nawrocki at Pittodrie, Scales dealt with it brilliantly and got the block in.
@@donegalcelticman5274Scales is good at those last ditch tackles and putting his head in where others won't. His biggest strength is his commitment. His skills are limited but just on this season alone he's been a bargain buy. Seems a level headed lad too, always good to have them on the pitch and in the dressing room.

Doubtful. Rightly or wrongly making CCV captain would be a public humiliation of Calmac.
@@MrBagpipes I can see your point.I think Calmac would be relieved to stand down as captain,he is struggling with the pressure and if Celtic lose the League and Cup I think he could break under the mental pressure.
@@ACHUNDOI I think Calmac is more likely to be struggling with the pressure of being played non-stop for years. The same thing happened with KT.
When Calmac plays well Celtic plays well, when he doesn't we don't. He needs a proper rest but it's impossible for it to happen now unfortunately.

He is physically and mentally drained at the moment and needs a good rest.Broony was as a different character he was very tough both physically and mentally.I don't want to see Calmac buckle mentally.That is why CCV could take over, and allow Calmac to play further forward and score more goals like he used to do under broony.
