- my thoughts on the show and the wonderful people that attended!!!
I forgot to mention all the free gifts that were being given!
The generosity of the fans is unmatched.
I got to meet Numu who does artwork for Ohrenje!! He had MANY original artwork postcards he was giving away. I thought they were prints but they were original artwork!!!
I will have a more complete video with photos out in the future!!
It was so important to meet ALL of you!!
thank you
Ryan - Hudba
Hi Ryan!
Welcome back to Japan!
You have become one of the famous BAND-MAID fans!
Your sincerity and passion for music has made me a fan as well.
Thank you so much!
Welcome to Japan. Thank you so much for loving BAND-MAID. Enjoy your trip and Japanese food.
I saw you outside the venue after the concert.
Thank you for traveling all the way from the United States to Japan, and Nagoya for that matter, to come and support BAND-MAID.
The BAND-MAID concert in Nagoya on June 28, 2024 was again wonderful.
During that concert, there was an impressive quote from Kanami.
It was a remark made after a trio performance by Miku, Akane, and Misa.
"To create a song is to turn 0 into 1. I am good at turning that 0 into 1. And the girls are the great ones who turn my 1 into 100.
(Full applause)
It is really difficult to turn 0 into 1.
This time, they took on the challenge of turning 0 into 1. They finally turned a zero into a one. They accomplished something very difficult.
That is the music they just performed."
Translated with DeepL (free version)
Thank you for the translation♥️ That is s very special moment!
Predictably , .....Kanami still ,manages to minimize her role !----no matter the mathematics of it all , ----------- she turns whatever she touches into treasure.
"MEAR-MAID in JAPAN" should be a regular series.😁
LOL!
You might have to repeat that to Danish Vikings!
Thanks for sharing this and everything on Mearcord, Ryan. I'm so envious of you and all the fans being able to experience this show. I'm so happy for you and the others.
So fun hearing all about your experience there.. so many amazing songs! I am just so happy for you and look forward to the next trip update 😁
Great recap Ryan, what I like most is seeing the joy on your face. Have a great time and I hope it's not too hot in Japan.👍🏽
DUDE!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so stoked you got to see this!!!!!
same........he deserves it !
Thank you for the recap of events Ryan, really appreciate it! Really glad to hear that the concert was a hit and that Kanami's new guitar is off the hook. Enjoy your time hanging out and spending time with the community. Be looking forward to your next vlog. 🤘
So happy you got to go and gave us a rundown of the show! Someday... 😪Thx, Ryan!
Thanks for the review Ryan! I hope they release a live MV of the version of Influencer
Appreciate the update Ryan. Wish i can be in Japan one day to see Band-Maid. Cheers!
Super cool. Hope to see you at a concert in Japan one day!
Band-Maid crowds are always so warm and welcoming but it sounds like Japan brought it to the next level. So glad - and jealous! - that you had such a great experience!
Thank you for the information. I'm happy you came back to Japan.
The best touring rock band out there.
Thank you so much for sharing this. So cool you experienced this it sounds like an amazing show. Not gonna lie I got a little of the envies over here in Sacramento. Can't wait to hear the new songs!
Hey, hey, are you in Japan again?
Ryan, I think you should rent a house in Japan.
Maids has a lot of songs that can be used, so you can enjoy any set list.
The only other bands with songs of such high quality are the Beatles, Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd.
Cheers for the update, Ryan. Here's hoping you'll cross paths with Peter while in Tokyo.✌️❤️🤘
Ryan mate!
Lucky man!
Looking forward to the next "episode"!
All the best!
Robert-Gilles
Thanks Ryan. Your detailed report has made me really look forward to the Kanagawa Okyuji I will be attending. See you again!
Damn! So awesome. I'm telling you, it'd be worth going to Japan just to have NO STINKING PHONES!!
@@Bekka_Noyb I'll make that trade any day.
@@Kevin6059 I've never owned a mobile/cell phone. I'm a paragon of virtue.😇
It's not just the damn phones themselves---it's the wall of pure RUDENESS to the performers !!!--
---they have to face a barrier of electronic bloody plastic boxes !!---it's as if there is NO audience at all ,out there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@wave8359 Yep & especially those in front who are tall to start with then still hold their phones above their heads :(
@@GaryHolloway-810 You really are!
Lucky! Wish I could have gone! I haven't been there since 1990, and even then, I was in western Japan. I would LOVE to go back.
The Don't You Tell Me hive continues to grow stronger!
Glad to hear that you have certainly enjoyed the time in Japan.
Sounds like a great time!
Excellent Ryan. Thanks so much for taking the time to post a concert review. Take care.
What a great experience. Nice summary!. Thank you for sharing it Ryan.
Happy for you brother ❤
Band Maid has gotten so good it's amazing. I hope they get bigger and bigger, I knew they would when I first found them years ago.
You're a great storyteller too Ryan, you nicely share your experience 😊👍
I'm glad you really enjoyed Band-Maid in Japan! It is something else!
So cool, you went to Japan to see the maids. Uk tour hoping😊.Download slot please.
You lucky dog. Happy for you. Happy for them. Just happy...
It was a great show. They are, on a whole new level when they play at home. I think it has a lot to do with "no phones"! Was nice meeting you again and hanging out afterwards. Enjoy the rest of your trip. Cheers!
In fact, it would be great to see a "no-phones' law just about everywhere.
We are all becoming mindless, obedient slaves... of ,what?-----of a damned little black box full of electronics !! We've been trained ,by evil-doers, into accepting them as our friends/our relationships---------plastic bloody boxes !
We have entered a new era of slavery----this time, to machines.
At least concerts in Japan have made a start at breaking the manacles of the cyber-tyranny !
ok---so WHAT WAS the reply? ? ---it has been disappeared !
Thanks for sharing Ryan. I hope the rest of your trip will be filled with wonderful memories
Ryan, glad to see you again. I'm so damned jealous about your trip to Japan to see the Maids and other groups. One of these days, my bucket list will be checked off. I would love for you to give we Maidiacs who want to visit Japan to see them so do's and don't about traveling there. If you can give a rough estimate of the cost for one or two weeks, so I can start planning, I and I'm sure other Maidaics would love that.
hint,,,hint-------find a downtown karaoke place that also has a floor for "internet-cafe" (or "manga-cafe")...... often, you can rent a little cubicle for a small fraction of a hotel room !....and free wifi thrown in. sugoi !~
Good work my friend 👏
Glad you had a great time. Thanks for the recap of the show.
Great to hear you are in Japan !------make sure you get to spend some hours in Yoyogi Park------nearly always some unpredictable live sounds there !
Thanks for the update!
Ryan Ryan Ryan!
So awesome Ryan!!
Band maid should issue Influencer from this concert as an official video. There are more like that. Band maid has great versions of Play, clang, etc, that should be immortalised.
Ryan san.We met since last year`s LOVEBITES show. See you again!
Fantastic Ryan. Thanks for the review. Really happy for you! 😃
🥰🕊👀
I always watch your reaction videos. I saw you nearby on the 28th before entering, but I'm not good at English so I just watched. You were wearing a red T-shirt. Enjoy your trip to Japan.
Thank you, please say hello next time!
I'm jealous!
Great report, Ryan. Enjoy Japan. It's an amazing place with great people.
Thanks for that, cant wait for the 14th !
Looks like pretty darned good setlist! As mentioned before was lucky enough to be at the Ex Roppongi show.
While they only played one of my fave songs, it was my fave song (Bubble)! ♥ How was the sound & lights?
At the Roppongi show they were incredible. Not sure if that's just normal for Japan, venue, or just cuz they might possibly be releasing live video of Show Me/other?
Both were by *far superior* to both previous shows I've been to (Philly 2022/Houston 2023)! Anyway sounds like you had a great time! 😊
Welcome back again to Japan!
Have a good trip in here✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧
