    @2degucitas My left ear healed normally, but my right ear did not. I had to then get another surgery (gods, it made me so sick!) which replaced that part (or all?) of my eardrum. They cut behind the ear, take some tissue, and place it over the hole. So, it depends. It is supposed to heal, but sometimes, it needs more help. :|

    After the tubes are removed does the eardrum heal over or is the hole permanent?
