*I own a Bob Simmons balsam wood surfboard.*
*# 101; according to Forest Lewis, shaper Randy Lewis's Dad: 'This is most likely Bob Simmons very first commercial surfboard".*
*He rejuvenated it, and told me that it belongs in a museum.*
*It hangs in my bedroom since 1983.*

Would you add video to show how this board will surf like on the ocean?

I would love to however the board is only for on the wall, maybe one day I can take it out for a surf and I will let you know! There is no footage from the original surfboard either, only other replicas. If you search in CZcams for Hydrodynamica or Richard Kenvin you will see and hear some interesting information on some of Bob Simmons Spoon design and other boards from the same era.

Here is a video of the Bob Simmons Spoon recreated by our local shaper Allen Riggan. He shapes boards out of a shack in his backyard. This board is 9' x 23' x 3". Thank you for this video on Bob Simmons, I love trying out retro designs.
