  • At the Surf Simply resort here in Costa Rica, mounted on the walls in each bedroom is a replica of some of the iconic surfboards throughout surfing's history.
    Our replicas were all shaped and glassed by Javier and his team at Banzaii Surfboards based here in Costa Rica:
    In this episode we're going to dive into the design features and history of the Dale Velzy 'Pig' Model from 1955.

    again, nice video. I do think the replica you show does not have a dead-flat deck, unlike the original pigs.

    The picture infront of the shop, at 2:18- what is the fin with 2 bits on the left board??

      Very unusual huh? It reminds me of the high cant fins that produce upward lift as much as side lift. Talk about experimenting!
