So the eq is before the compressor and the eq output feeds it? Is there a way to hit the compressor and then the eq or is it just fixed eq to compression?

Have you used it on guitars? Electric or acoustic?
Too many settings on the candy machine to play with (lol)..imho the end result is somewhat 'oversweetned'; but just a touch (to my ears)..a little too much of a good thing.
A magical device this Chandler none the less...one that I cant afford. Great video as usual.

Hey there! Your thoughts on the pre amp in this vs the geranium? I want to switch from my 1073lb and lb eq to either the 1 u TG geranium which is a pre only or this TG cassette fir its eq section. Have you been able to hear them each. If so what is your opinion (I already have zen for compression).

This pre sounds ridiculously good. I recorded through the real one in Studio 2 in the Sixties!
Maybe if you want to go for a used car ;) It's certainly not the cheapest mic, but we think it sounds fantastic, especially on this singer!

Hi oceantracks, that's probably the one! The Telefunken is very good, but much more expensive.
Dam this thing sounds awesome. You didn't use bypass enough though so we could hear the difference

It sounded better, more open and natural before you started messing with the EQ and especially the compressor, it's totally over-compressed, no dynamics left.

It was good to get an idea of what the various parameters do and sound like. I think it was maybe a little overcooked here and there but to call it crap is maybe a tad harsh.
Great piece though, i swear Chandler is a one stop shop... Just expensive.
Some elements sound amazing over compressed especially with a tone monster like this.
