I applied but really hope I land this job at Disney world. Thanks for the tips!
I hope so too! What would be your ideal job there?
Hi Ben, I used your advice. Ive made it to the actual in person assessment interview for tht particular role. Im hoping for the best! thank you for your help!
That’s awesome! I hope you get it! Let me know what happens!
Hi Ben! I just wanna say thank you so much for all the great advice that you offered in this video - I applied them to my interview earlier today and had the fortune of getting hired on the spot thanks to what I learned from this video! Thanks again (:
That’s amazing! Congrats! What will you be doing? (I’m a huge fan of Disney)
@@BenTalksTalent Hello again! I got offered a role on Quick Service Outdoor Vending :D
Brother I am from India I also want to work in dis land how can I approach?
Hey Ben. Nice video, with great advice! Two things. In your video description, you said "feet" instead of "feat" (although in your video you do talk about standing too long on your "feet"). Also, you definitely need to get over to Disneyland, since you say that you've never , Ben. It's potentially life-changing!
Thank you for letting me know! And I am sure I will at some point. World I have been a good amount and I’ll actually be there again soon, just not land yet.
Thanks for this advice I have an interview next week I am very nervous cause I love Disney !
So exciting! Good luck!!!
Thank you for everything, I didn’t follow your instructions to a Tee but I used it as a base to understand the process :), as of today I finish my step into magic process and I’m thankful for the help :)
Let’s go! Congrats! What will you do be doing?
@@BenTalksTalent I’m going to be working at sunset showcase :)
Or at least that’s my training, I’m in attractions :)
I got my zoom interview on the 16th so nervous 😬 but excited at the same time going to have to take notes on this video put them to use.
Did u get the job ?
Did you get the job
Did you get the job
Most of these about previous experiences i can barely say a thing,
Ive never gone to school,
Or had a past job,
I did volunteer at many places though but i never had any "situations" everything went perfectly smooth,
In that case you have to talk in hypotheticals.
Awesome advice! Interviewing this week and I'm just down the road in Rockford, IL!
Whoa no kidding! I ran my first marathon in Rockford! Good luck Joseph!
@@BenTalksTalent was a massive help and put me in the right mindset. Do you have experience with panel/group interviews?
@@joeyzcommunications that’s great to hear! And yes, I made this video - The SECRET to GROUP INTERVIEWS

I got a zoom interview scheduled for February 3rd for attractions for Disneyland. I’m practicing my answers to multiple questions they may ask. I’m Hoping that I will get my dream job!!! I will update my status soon!
Good luck! I would love to connect with you afterwards if you are open to it! I’d love to learn about your experience!
@@BenTalksTalent thank you I got the job!!!
Hi Ben! Thank you for the generous info. Are you avail for direct consulting/coaching?
@@BradFerringo hi! I am working on setting it up. So in the process but don’t have systems ready yet. But if interested you can reach out via Instagram!
Thinking of applying after 10 years in the military, heres hoping that im a good fit for disney
Good luck!
So sad. I was a ride operator at WDW in 1978-1985. All they asked was "do you like working with the public?" and "Why do you want to work here?" The also checked that you met the grooming standards and would fit the wardrobe range when you were AT your interview. They realized that most kids out of high school don't have "ride operator experience." AND it was ALL done in person at the old casting building behind Magic Kingdom, and you knew at the end of the interview if you got the job. Ah the good old days.
My zoom interview is in 30 minutes, watching your videos, hoping for the best!!
How it went?
Do you have any knowledge or experience with the IT Careers in Disney? I've applied for a couple jobs, but it's really hard to find really any information about that world within Disney. Love your stuff and you have a new follower! :)
Great video!
Thank you!!!
Hi ben thanks so much .i.have an interview next week .
Good luck! I hope you get it!!! You are welcome!
Hi Ben! Amazing video btw! I recently had an Interview with Walt Disney World the beginning of this month! 🎉 but unfortunately i’ve been waitlisted…. i’m scared cause I haven’t heard anything since than. What should I do in the phase of the process??
I would like to apply as an actor/ singer at the disney park, will try this! :)
That’s very cool!
Hi Ben! Tomorrow is my virtual interview, hoping your advices would work for me especially I am not that confident in speaking in English.
I hope you get it!!
Very good!😊
Thank you! I have three other Disney ones to go along with this one!
Just got hired at disneyland excited to go to traditions now!

So good video ❤
Thank you!!!
Hey Ben, I want to apply as a lifeguard at disney but every time I go to the disney careers website it never shows up. Do you think you can help me with that?
Hey Ben! Does this apply to a full-time engineering role with Disney? I have an Industrial Engineer interview with them next week and was hoping to incorporate this advice into my hour long interview (should be behavioral+technical)
I think this will help a lot. You will of course get technical questions but this should help with the other stuff. Make sure to watch my other Disney videos too!
@@BenTalksTalent awesome! I appreciate the kind words, and I will definitely continue checking them out. Hopefully it all goes well!
@@jonlien12 fingers crossed!
@@BenTalksTalent hey Ben! Quick question, any ideas what type of questions they might ask if it’s simple case questions? My coordinator mentioned it would be less proposing a solution, but wanting to gauge my thought process.
Hey Ben I got past the screening interview, and the face to face interview. It was great I thought it went goo. IT was for an Electronic Technician/ PBX job Then I had to wait a month and all of a sudden was rejected. I have no Idea why and I did tons of research studied the background of disney how the phone system cam about. How a Pbx works and still got rejected. I was willing to work the third shift over night that was required. Again, still rejected.
I am sorry Kristin. Sometimes interviewing just works like that. There are a lot of reasons why good candidates don’t get hired. Try not to be discouraged.
I am in the theme park capital so I will look at others. I am IT so it hopefully will be easier.
Hi how do I ask to apply for a ride host or retail host please
I have an interview in 5 min just watched thank you
Good luck!!!!
I got the second Interview with Disney resort central Thank you for the help and Great video it helped a lot @@BenTalksTalent
@@stikkyfps let’s go!!! Keep it up!
So I just got an offer from Disneyland as a cast member. But I applied data science intern and full-time way before I applied for Disneyland. So if got an interview for the intern, a cast member role is a plus? Should I talk about it with the recruiter? I mean it I want to start working as a cast member right now and do the internship later if got the offer. And the positions will start in Jan 23. However, is that possible or easy to go back to the park if the company would not offer me a full-time position? Thank you 🙏
I think if you are transparent that is best Emma because they can likely see it in their applicant tracking systems, so honesty is best.
@@BenTalksTalent That's what I am thinking. Thank you so much, Ben. I learned helpful strategies from your videos.
@@emmalu5374 you are very welcome!!!
I have my interview tomorrow for Disneyland😊

That would be cool. It’s a great park!
Hey Ben I have Disney Interview people on 21st
Good luck!!!
Is there any chance or opportunity to apply for an agency in Disney?
You can always check their website for openings. What do you mean by “an agency”?
Does disney hire a person from other countries?
Do you think an animation degree in college is necessary to get a job in disney if my work is good enough?
I am not sure. It will likely depend on the role and manager interviewing. But it likely helps a lot.
I know this is late but most studios don’t care about your education, all that matters is your quality of work
I applied to like seven different positions and the recruitment team just sent me an email saying they’re not interested. And it was like easy positions. It seems really hard to get into Disneyland. I didn’t even get an interview in one of the positions I applied for and I’m not a criminal. I have no background. I’m just a regular college student.I applied for a receptionist, arrival coordinator… Like literally the easiest Customer Service and they want to interview with me so I’m trying to figure out what is it?
I have no crazy bad background I have no bad drivers license, etc.*
And they didn’t even want to have an interview with me*
Mr,ben iam from india can i get a job in disney land usa if i come in tourist visa is that possible?😢 Thats my dream work how can i approach pls give some tips
I attended a job fair at disney world for pest control position, I had initial interview in person that covered hours, benefits etc. they were impressed so I had second interview with recruiter, it went well also and now i’ve got a phone interview.. does this sound like i’ve got the job?
I don’t know if it’s a done deal but that seems positive. Good luck!
@@BenTalksTalent got the job! prepared so much for the phone interview, writing and rehearsing answers using your guidance and help videos.. and the call said i’ve got the job… nothing more than that! thanks a lot anyway man

Hey ben, so, i'm thinking on applying but i want to email some questions beforehand though
Some questions to me?
@@BenTalksTalent overall, i'm in the military, soon to get out. But i've heard they frown HIGHLY on tattoos
@@deklynbutler2267 I just had an interview and they really aren’t bothered with tattoos, if the size of the tattoo is large then they’ll want it covered, if small and not offensive then it’s fine
@@lufcbrice thanks bro, that helps a LOT
Does this applies for housekeeping?
Yes, some may be slightly different depending on the role but you can expect some overlap.
I'm 18, still a senior in high school, I graduate in June, yet I've never had a real job before. I want to work there over the summer and continue working while I'm enrolled in a University. Do I still have a chance at working there? I have a lot of leadership positions currently in high school, yet I don't know what they are looking for. pls help!! :(
I’d say apply. It depends on the role but you don’t know if you don’t try.

hey im 19 in community college and applied but basically have no previous experience in work as this will potentially be my first job ever. do u think I still have a decent change of getting the job? I applied for the attractions role. Thanks for the tips!
