- Ohhh this one punched me in the gut...
Episode 8 of Season 2 of Helluva Boss brings out a ton of the series' best! The Cherubs and the DHORKS form a most... interesting alliance as they identify a common enemy in Blitzo and I.M.P. Can Moxxie, Millie, and Loona keep them out of the Boss Man's hair as he preps for his monthly meeting with Stolas?!

Great work as always Dave one of the better reactions, your shot by shot breakdowns always help patch any missed details really underrated, I appreciate that Stolas finally addressed the issues, love both characters but the lack of communication for so long from both was driving me nuts, so it's good they finally had some communication instead of pretending everything is perfect it's one of those situations where it has to hurt before it heals, afterall a wound cant heal if there is no wound to begin with so hopefully that communication was what they needed to wake Blitzø up, I think the duality of the song from Stolas' part and Blitzø's was awesome, showing both sides of it, Stolas who sees it as almost a "he loves me not" and fearing hes put Blitzø into something he doesnt want, and therefore blaming himself for all of it, very self deprecating, whereas Blitzø just avoids all the conflict because its easier and his very self-destruct personality. And just the duality of the song where Stolas is talking about addressing it and fixing it and how its about love, and Blitzø is avoiding addressing it and that the arrangement is "perfect" and its all about sex
Thanks so much for the nice comment! And yeah watching them miscommunicate for so long was agonizing. While not a “good” conversation, it’s good that their attempts at communication are being had right now, can only hope they learn how to speak each other’s languages sooner than later

Didnt knew that they combined the cherubs and dhorks together......the episode seems like it could do without that....but glad Erica is back as Loona!
Cherubs should be back in this episode, because this episode has a theme of love and sex.
Cherubs are always surprised and disgusted by everything sexual, as it shows the Christian point of view on love. Christianity believes that it has the most correct way of doing love, and that if you make your love ungodly with sexual things or breaking the rules (example without marriage), then your love will be bad.
That's why all the characters in this episode do something sexy. Luna wiggles her butt. Millie and Moxie kiss with tongues. Agents do furry roleplay.
This is the first episode where Stolas doesn't do anything sexual(Blitzy~ is sexual), he's as serious as possible. The main question is, can demonic ungodly sex be combined with love? Stolas couldn't handle it. He was unable to convey to Blitz what he wanted, since before that their relationship was only sexual. Actually, he was able to convey and Blitz really understood that Stolas was serious about love at the end, but they still quarreled.
Cherubs are right about sex and lust to some extent. It’s just that it’s all complicated, and indeed the relationship between Stolas and Blitz was initially toxic, since it was tied only to sex. They still have to work on all this
