Thanks very much for your video, very helpful. I’ve bought one of these units and have just needed to replace the battery in my BMW f25 X3. I’m aware of the need to register the battery and thought ‘great! I can use the BRT function on the NT 644 to register the new battery. When I plugged the unit into my car and went to the maintenance tab, BRT was not there! WTF? Any idea why it’s not showing? Am I missing something?
So I bought one of these, and when I went to do the software update, I find that the company does not support Macintosh computers. So if you have a Mac, you can’t update your unit unless you hook it to a PC. So that kind of sucks and they don’t tell you that anywhere
Can this model turn off (and delete) functions on a BMW model? (I have a 2008 E90, 335XI sedan model). I would like delete the Adaptive Headlights as I get a error code and the issue is not worth fixing and the cost to fix it. I also would like to turn off the night time auto-dimming feature of the rear view mirror. (annoying and hard to see) I was looking at the Foxwell NT510 or NT530 models and then saw this more advanced scanner. Thanks and nice video. Very well done. Phil NYC Area
@@RANDOMFIX I want to delete the Adaptive Headlights feature (turn off completely) because of the constant error. The cost is expensive to fix and the error code is only because one motor apparently is lazy and not moving the headlight when you turn the steering wheel on a curve. Thanks. Phil
I don't remember, I would always email the vendor and give them the make and model of your vehicle before purchasing as I'm finding out lots of the time that a lot of vehicles are not supported. Take a lot a this before you buy. czcams.com/video/Ewky_DsA0MI/video.html

Do you have access to another scan tool?
Ive just ordered a new one that states it does BMW battery registration. Not a Foxwell.

your scoring is flawed for this as it is bi-directional to an extent as I understand it, it will activate components such as the fuel pump

Also please note lots of scantools say they can do lots of things but look at my video It didn't even clear a srs light correctly.
