This song is basically about surviving an abusive relationship, how hard it is to get out of it, no matter how hard you try and it will make you feel worthless in the end. Semalam means 'Yesterday' in english. Btw, I love how you can feel the emotion as exactly as it should be without even know what the lyric is all about. It's true though, Music is universal 🤗
