No Thank you for the tribute to and for your mom, seems she wasnt just a good star but a wonderful mother to have raised you as good as you seem now. Fame is what others see, but true fame is what you mean to those close to you.
She was quite the princess and so are you.

Well there was/is some craziness about why her brother Todd Fisher was not involved.

I will never look at Billie Lourd the same way again after the way she's behaved regarding this ceremony. Her narcissistic bitterness and outright spitefulness toward her mother's siblings cast a pall over this celebration as she mandated she be the only immediate family allowed to attend (yes, she threatened to boycott if Todd attended). Her singular relationship with her mother does not negate the relationships or love between Carrie & her brother and sisters. In castigating and publicly punishing them for hurts real or imagined regarding publicly sharing their grief over their sister, Billie seems to forget her mother wrote a thinly veiled roman a clef about her OWN mother. I recall Debbie Reynolds certainly wasn't thrilled about it at the time, either. But she didn't excommunicate Carrie. Nor would she have thought much of Billie expressing her inflated sense of ownership over Carrie by banishing Todd, Joely and Tricia from even being present to honor her. So much for the high road, Billie. But gee you sure looked lovely on camera today.

Yet these siblings made so much money off the death of their sister and mother through interviews and books. shamelessly greedy and self centered. Billie was hurt by this. It’s her mother. She doesn’t have a relationship with them. It’s billies choice if they should attend. So shut your mouth.

She is horrible. She should have included all Family Members despite conflict as this is a time to come together and heal. She grabbed the spotlight for herself. Look in the past, Carrie always included those that her daughter kept away. Yes they wrote biographies but as her brother said it was cathartic and fans asked him too, it wasn't a crime as Carrie displayed herself in her iwn writings. It was an attention grab on her daughters part, it would have been easy to included everyone then carry on as usual. BUT that's what a mature person would do.

@@ConcreteHugh You are 1000% correct! I worked for Debbie back in 1990-91 and Todd became a friend and got me my first job on a movie he Produced. Those 3 were SO CLOSE and Todd was so happily supportive in every way of both Debbie and Carrie (“his girls”) behind the scenes. He wanted nothing to do with the ‘in front of the camera’ limelight. Debbie could never have had her dream Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas without him. This ‘Billie’ wasn’t even in the picture back then. She is a rotten brat for not including Todd and the stepsisters that Carrie loved so much in this event. Shameful.
