Fans could make one, they've played so many acoustic versions over the year that the album would be at least 1 hour long. But yeah, I agree, RA sounds great on a guitar and voice, I usually learn their songs and make acoustic versions out of them.

It is, but what kinda gets me in the people smiling while singing along to it. Yes it is a beautiful song, but sad as hell. Maybe it's my lived experience of knowing people with ptsd and others people in the military, I feel I can't smile singing along with this song. It's more of trying not to get choked up.

Rise against was the canary in the coal mine for an entire generation of youth and our apprehensions about the impending future we were witnessing unfold.
