There is also an tester called "Beha UNITEST MAGNOVoltfix Best Nr. 2050" that can also detect magnetic fields. It can detect Voltages from 50V-600V AC and is therefore sensitive. It has also a Buzzer (and no on/off switch, it is always on). Needs two AAA cells.

I have two of these. For the home a Mastercraft, sold in my country by the big cheap mass merchandiser Canadian Tire Stores, which is identical to the Emos. Also own a Fluke for over twenty years, early model with no buzzer, no buttons, it just lights up and works when it needs to, for my professional shop. I definitely prefer and trust the Fluke better.

For me the best one is the one with the best case and battery contacts.

I have the same Laserliner model and I really like it. One day, I will buy the XP version, which is their high end model with the most futures, but for now, I think this one will do just fine.

It’s better if u have to get really close for it to go off. Bc in an electrical box, u have many wires close together that u need to identify which one is “hot”. If u just are 1 inch away and it goes off, then it makes it hard to diagnose the problem

@@michaelolsen3119This test shows otherwise. Distance of mesurment + higher frequency for close measurements.

Ja kupiłem unit za około 5 dych z dodatkowym wykrywaczem pola magnetycznego, mało przydatne do domowego użytku ale jest, jestem bardzo zadowolony z tego zakupu

Why wrong impression, if you have phasing on all 3 wires its good impression and device because something is wrong with installation
