Here are a few good hill tribe villages we like to visit in the Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai area including Yao, Akha and Lahu. For more information all-thailand-ex...
I find that place so interesting. People live in simple life. Beautiful place and the houses are cute. No crimes. people in the village sleep early and get up early in the morning at around 4 a.m.
Thank u Randy for sharing the video, the place reminds me of a small city in South Sumatra in 1987. I live in Canada and would love to retire in a peaceful village such like this, simple life and friendly people.
Check out my new app about Chiang Mai that works on any mobile device. You can then take with you while you are in Chiang Mai as a tour guide to temples and interesting places in the city. There is also useful information about restaurants, lodging, and visit villages. Got to www.appcatch.com/app_chiangmai_tours-599038.htmlCheers,Randy
Hi Evelin, The short time volunteer work we do for a day or 2 a work permit is not necessary. I have been here for 23 years and learned Thai as I went. I also went to school for a couple of months.
hi. really enjoyed this video, it was very interesting. glad you posted it. such a beautiful place you are very lucky indeed. you say you used to help in the villages, what sort of things did you do? if you don't mind me asking..
Great video! Just out of curiosity, do you learn the language before going to the hill tribes or just Thailand in general. I notice you do volunteer works too as I was browsing through some of your videos and was wondering do you have to get a volunteer permit or some sort of permit to volunteer?
Beautiful video. Makes me want to travel north and have a look for myself. Thanks
I miss Thaïlande, simple people and nature.
Randy Gaudet thanks for sharing this, love you travel videos, I'll travel to this destination one day.
