Beautiful area. I remember passing though there as a kid. I wanted to ride the Durango-Silverton train. But they were booked full the entire time we were in the area. I still want to go back and ride the train.
We have rode that train and been to Silverton many times! That narrow Guage Train ride is spectacular!!

We've been over the Alpine Loop several times! And hiked to the top of Handies Peak! Last time was in 2020! It's such an amazing area!
