Thanks a million. I tried to do this for ten minutes, stopping for fear I was going to break the motor, shaft or worse. After watching the video only halfway through, I was able to do it in less than a minute. That rear wiper had been terrible for years.
Thanks!! As a new widow, I'm learning to do these things on my own as my hubby would have taken care of it in a jiffy. This was very easy to understand. Thanks for the help!
Thank you for the wonderful instructions. I had been carrying the spare windshield wire for more than 3 years because I was afraid of breaking it. Super easy! The accent was a bonus!
Thanks for sharing the tip. 0:35 is the key part. Glad that I watched your video before I tried to use the "brutal force" approach and would have broken some parts. Greatly appreciated!
2019 highlander has same set up; you would expect that Toyota might include in their several hundred page manual to address "replacement of wiper blades". As all who have found this video, they do not. But thanks to this very helpful very well done video: problem solved. Thank you, now a subscriber.
Thank you for this! I strongly recommend that people don't leave the arm unattended in the extended position because if it snaps back it will likely crack the glass.
Sir thank you SO much for this quick lesson....!! Thanks to your instruction I avoided forcing something and breaking it. I didn't even know about the trick to pull the wiper arm out further. I followed your instructions and had the new blade on in less than a minute. Awesome !!
Thank you for your videos, I hope one day you can do a automatic transmission service on a 2014 or newer Toyota RAV4, you will get a lot of views on that video. Thanks Sir!
Thanks. Your hands are in the way. The bolt cover needs to be grabbed on the sides and pulled out before up. Its very flexible. Also the wiper arm retainer is at a bit of an angle, so needs to be pulled out diagonally. Using your directions, a gorilla could break this thing.
you missed the most important thing: how to replace ONLY the blade. Yes, it is much easier to do what you did but the aftermarket wiper arms are cheap and will fade badly in no time. So, good demo on just swapping the old with the new but negative on replacing the blade.
