I'm very surprised you didn't know Tim Henson and Scott Le Page did the original guitars for 'Brand New Day'. That was in 2019 - Fox_Fest was the first chance they got to play it live together. They weren't just invited on to play whatever random BABYMETAL song for no reason.
They are from Polyphia (Texas based Prog band) and they played their own set at Fox_Fest earlier in the day.
I was so moved that I cried then at the venue... I am now a fan of Polyphia.
In the near future, we are gonna get another BABYMETAL song featuring them and a new Polyphia song featuring BM.

Also rare you didn't know about this song featuring Polyphia guitarists Tim Henson (right) and Scott LePage (left), it was part of 3rd album Metal Galaxy back in 2019 and they were looking for this performance on stage together.
In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one.
I'm not a Polyphia fan but so far the couple of songs I've heard are really good, they're mainly instrumental band but I think they got some collab along with singers, not really sure about it so don't quote that on me, definitely they will have a lyrics song if they feature BM.
Suggest you Playing God and GOAT.
They were invited to play at FOX_FEST last month so they got their own setlist and this one is just a bonus performance on BM setlist, isn't something really big since we all know the song and BND got a clear city pop vibes and that's probably one of the reasons it was one of the songs many Japanese fans were looking for.

Tim and Scott from Polyphia are two of the most creative and talented guitarists out there now. Granted, their work on this track may be more subdued than their own songs but what they play perfectly matches the mood of the song. There are lots of subtle things on this track that other musicians can't easily replicate. BND has been performed by both the Japanese and Western Kamis and I assure you that they did not do a better job.

Easily one of my top 5 BABYMETAL songs.
I still prefer the performance at Budokan 2021 for sound and atmosphere.
lol I think the Tom Morello feature is a lot more pointless than this feature. Also this song is from 2019 and the kami band has played it multiple times so you can go and compare if you want. In my opinion Tim and Scott played this way better obviously because it's a song that was written partly with them and having their style in mind when creating the song
