This Canadian goose family came out of the water and beelined it for a Muscovy duck that was minding his own business. The father goose got a little surprise.
That's either one very tough muscovy to attack a Canada goose family, or one very passive Canada goose duo. Uncommon to see parents with chicks back down even from mute swans or even birds of prey, much less a muscovy. Although it might be done to protect their chicks, maybe.
Last spring when our class went on a trip to hradec kralove, i saw a muscovy duck nearby. I let it be for a bit, then i decided to feed it a sandwich, idk if it was cuz she was not a parent but she was kinda chill. I even got a photo of it

Yes! I thought that duck was going to be toast around those parents. I was surprised when the duck became the aggressor.
@@vswick we have a french rooster who provoked a fight with our alpha Muscovy drake, and the rooster didn't even stand a chance
