ya know i didn't expect realistically for Shantae to get in despite being my most requested character but i love playing the miis so the fact i got a decent looking mii costume with a music tack for her makes me happy.
@@TF2Fan101 Wayforward confirmed that Legend of Zelda and Disney's Aladdin are Shantae's biggest inspirations. Meaning that Shante has a hard time standing out compared to the Zelda cast. Another problem is that Shantae's Harpy mode is a little too similar to Banjo Kazooie's triple jump.

Right. Crash *not* getting a Mii costume hurts for me, because he's just not in Smash at all, and likely will have little chance to ever be in one because he apparently wasn't even considered. Yeah, the guy kinda can't be without excessive gratuitous violence. I personally would riot if they added him as a fully fledged fighter, no joke. Doomguy can't be without killing literally everything in the most brutal ways possible. There is a REASON his games are R rated. If there was a rating above that, they would be in that rating, hands down. You just can't have Doomguy without everything he is.

Smash fans will never be happy because they take everything so personally instead of enjoying this giant game that so much care has been put into.
I mean, just because its in the game doesn't mean they have to like it. Besides, I'm pretty sure they would rather have the actual character with their actual voice, moves, stage, music and whatnot instead of a bootleg cosplay stand in.

A unique fighter would of course be ideal, but at least they are there 💁🏻 For example, Golden Sun, I gave up on the idea of Isaac being a unique fighter a long time ago but I’m happy he was at least included in the game so there’s some kind of representation, even if it’s not a unique fighter. I like Dante, I think he would have probably had a cool move set, but I’m happy he at least made it in the game rather than him not being in at all
TBH Dante uses guns and Sora has spells and blade throw, like pyra's Blazing Edge. But i suppose Dante would be Bayo 2 with sword instead of the demon, and Sora would be Pythra in male form rn. Sora not deconfirmed, tho.

In my headcanon, Mii Costumes are Spirits that escaped or were freed from Galeem and Dharkon's hold... but couldn't get their bodies back, they were re-created as Miis, with their full memories and personalities, but their powers limited to those of the Miis.

The craziest shit to me is Dante. Like NO ONE talked about wanting this character in Smash until the tweet before Byleth's announcement and then everyone came out of the woodwork like "Ah yes, I've wanted Dante forever actually", and that shit literally willed him into the game. That skin 100% wouldn't exist without the series of events playing out over the last year and that's actually crazy awesome to me.
It may be gut wrenching to see such sought after characters be deconfirmed. But at the same time, This direct's mii line-up felt like the "honorable mentions" in that at least the deconfirmed even *get* representation. This as well as the final character's mii line-up are the last hurrah for any third parties. Then it's over.
mii fighter costumes were still hype dude, people just were salty they didn't make it as actual chars but i still appreciate them being put in someway, they even gave some costumes music tracks

Given there was only one slot left, I'm glad a lot of these characters got in. The last character has to be Something extra, and ultimately the choice is between having mii costumes of these guys or jackshit for them, and I know which I prefer
All these ppl have the same pattern, expected Lloyd as a Mii Costume, surprised and hype when Dragonborn came, gone sad when Dante got revealed as a costume, and then heartbroken when Shantae came into the picture

Never understood why people get upset. The way I look at it, they decided on the main characters a long time ago, so every mii fighter costume you see here is someone that was going to be out entirely but still got represented anyway. Personally, I'm happy to see them make it in as a mii fighter costume because that means they weren't going to make it in otherwise. I was happy for every single one of them. Other people look at it and say, "Deconfirmed", while I look at it and say, "Confirmed!"
Also, please note that you can't "deconfirm" something unless it's already been confirmed. So calling out "deconfirmed" is actually rather arrogant; it means in your mind, the character was already expected and entitled to be a main character, and this entitlement was being stopped in some way. In reality, it was more likely that they never made it to that point, but still managed to make it in as a costume. So again, be happy for it, don't be arrogant and upset.
People are mad when they get another sword character but when a sword mii gets a costume everyone is mad its not a new character but just a costume, people just dont work apparently

The craziest shit to me is Dante.
Like NO ONE talked about wanting this character in Smash until the tweet before Byleth's announcement and then everyone came out of the woodwork like "Ah yes, I've wanted Dante forever actually", and that shit literally willed him into the game.
That skin 100% wouldn't exist without the series of events playing out over the last year and that's actually crazy awesome to me.

It may be gut wrenching to see such sought after characters be deconfirmed.
But at the same time,
This direct's mii line-up felt like the "honorable mentions" in that at least the deconfirmed even *get* representation. This as well as the final character's mii line-up are the last hurrah for any third parties. Then it's over.
mii fighter costumes were still hype dude, people just were salty they didn't make it as actual chars but i still appreciate them being put in someway, they even gave some costumes music tracks
That whole mii fighter round was Sakurai putting on that "Oooh what you say" meme on repeat.

Given there was only one slot left, I'm glad a lot of these characters got in. The last character has to be Something extra, and ultimately the choice is between having mii costumes of these guys or jackshit for them, and I know which I prefer

All these ppl have the same pattern, expected Lloyd as a Mii Costume, surprised and hype when Dragonborn came, gone sad when Dante got revealed as a costume, and then heartbroken when Shantae came into the picture

Never understood why people get upset. The way I look at it, they decided on the main characters a long time ago, so every mii fighter costume you see here is someone that was going to be out entirely but still got represented anyway. Personally, I'm happy to see them make it in as a mii fighter costume because that means they weren't going to make it in otherwise. I was happy for every single one of them. Other people look at it and say, "Deconfirmed", while I look at it and say, "Confirmed!"
Also, please note that you can't "deconfirm" something unless it's already been confirmed. So calling out "deconfirmed" is actually rather arrogant; it means in your mind, the character was already expected and entitled to be a main character, and this entitlement was being stopped in some way. In reality, it was more likely that they never made it to that point, but still managed to make it in as a costume. So again, be happy for it, don't be arrogant and upset.

Let's be real Dante is still stuck with Vergil, so deadweight just sent Dante's costume from DMC: Devil May Cry (the wig and the clothes)
