A singer with a majestic voice. No wonder The Seekers enjoyed great success during the 1960s. I also loved her when she sang "I am Australian", that duet with Russell Hitchcock, back in 1997. Both with mature and gracefully aged voices.
I am truly thankful we still have and will always have recordings of Judith Durahm (and The Seekers) . Their musical and singing talents were a once in a lifetime generation, likely to never be seen or heard of again. In my opinion, the vocal harmonies of The Seekers were overwhelmingly superior to The Beatles, although Lennon & McCartney along with George Harrison did write most of their songs. I give them credit for that. The only other vocal talent from that generation that I can think of that was as good as Judith and the guys would be The Cowsills. They are another talent that has been completely underrated.
Now, her voice belongs to Heaven. I only hope that the angels enjoy her singing as much as I do.
A voice that goes into the heart. Judith was a delight for the eyes and ears.
Thought i'd heard every song recorded by The Seekers but it is my first time to listen to this lovely song by Dame Judith Durham.

What a beautiful voice. Lotta people didn't realize how much range she had. and listen to that vibrato.
Another vastly underrated singer. I can't believe someone like Taylor Swift can be so popular and a singer like Judith Durham be so underappreciated.
I've never listened to Swift but I've listened to a LOT of Judith. Why? Because this woman could actually SING!
