I absolutely thrived in Iceland!! It is so beautiful, wherever you are driving the scenery completely changes every 15 min and it feels like you are on another planet!!
I solo traveled to Iceland and I stayed at a hostel, and it was perfect for me and the kind of travel I was looking for + my budget for this trip. If/when I come back, id love to go to a beautiful airbnb in a secluded area and rent a car! And take it slow. But that’s for next time.
My hostel was right in the middle of the city so it was perfect I could just walk wherever I needed to go + all the tours pick you up from Reykjavik. I also got to meet a lot of cool people at the hostel and I never felt sketched out in this trip, praise God!
If you are wanting to go to Iceland… go!!
I loved every minute of it, and it blew all my expectations through the roof!!

We went to Iceland right before the pandemic and really want to go back. Reykjavik is such a cute and colorful town. Miss all the waterfalls too. We didn’t hike up the stairs at Skogafoss but looks very pretty from up there. Thanks for letting me reminisce.
