What a fantastic book. MCcay was a genius...the father of modern comics .Cant believe these illustrations are over hundred years old.
He was an amazing artist, one of the best and one of the earliest comic artists. A source of inspiration for many that followed as well.

Is this multilingual version? Cause I just ordered mine, it looks like the only complete version that is at same time multilingual aswell. Im buying for English text, if this is multiling. version you're having, where are the others languages included? I hope all comics are in English :) thanks!

Definitely is, I love Taschen books in general and I have always loved the Little Nemo stories as well as others by that superb artist

No, I like his work but I won't be getting that. I would get it in Artisan but I don't buy that many Artists editions. They are too bulky. I have about 6 and that is enough. If they bring out a Joe Maneely or a Bill Everett one I suspect I will change my mind on that.

I just ordered this. I have a best of, but this looks even better.
Certainly my favourite one so far, seen many different volumes of the works over the years - I am certain there is some truly ultimate one that makes it look exactly like the original newspaper strips ??
This looks an excellent collection, you can usually rely on Taschen to put out a good book. Somehow i missed this when it was readily available, it's OOP and going for silly money now, oh pshaw I'll just have to wait for the next reprint!
I only bought it the last week or so, I can't believe it has gone out of print that quick ... whew, that was a bit of luck on my part. I am certain it will be reprinted again
It just received a reprint as of October 2022! Taschen's website shows 'in stock', I picked up mine from a brick & mortar store this week :) Note that the reprint is smaller than the original release (XL for the 2022 version vs XXL for the original).

@@AndrewBuckleBookReviews I was curious about that same question when this was released. From Taschen's website, the original XXL version was about 34x44cm, 2 vols in a slipcase box. So still a bit smaller than the original broadsheet size of roughly 40x53 cm.
You might already know about Sunday Press' release of Nemo stories in 2005 ("So Many Splendid Sundays") - that was 40x53cm. It didn't have everything though, and goes for as much as the Taschen XXL in the online aftermarket.
This 2022 version is roughly 29x36 cm. Agree with you: the more manageable size in a single volume is nice :)
Would you happen to know if the newer taschen version is an exact version of this book? I know it's being released in October, but I'm not too sure if it's an exact version of this if not better because I don't feel like spending close to $1000 just to get the 2014 version.
