To me, this looks like a mix of an ABBA stage costume, hobbit waistcoat and fellowship cloak. AND I'M HERE FOR IT! Really, this is gorgeous in any possible way, the sewing, the storytelling, the cinematography and the whole idea behind it!
This was so darling! It must have been so interesting to sew/dye in unique locations. It looked challenging but really fun. And you have lovely forests to film in. I’m finishing a Tolkien class at uni right now so I’ve loved seeing these LotR projects! The fabric puns for the Middle-Earth locations were great, I especially loved “Hem’s Deep.” I wish I was smart enough to figure out riddles 😅
Love the storytelling, love the outfit, and I sincerely admire the sewing in the tree, that can't have been comfortable (oh and if this is not a Rachel invocation, I don't know what is ;) )

The fact that next month is the 20th anniversary of the fellowship of the ring being released makes this so much more meaningful. These films have been part of my life for 17 years. It’s amazing to see what you’ve done. I want a modern Arwen or Galadriel next 😊

I can see why you couldn't possibly put out scads of videos like this, there is too much thought and work involved. The outfit is great and definitely something Belladonna would wear to Aragorn's coronation or some kind of elven festival, with or without sword. Also, your curls look adorable as you do in general, as always.
A tremendous amount of work obviously went into this; from the cinematography to the song composition to the sewing itself, and it all came out beautifully! It's especially rare to see the feminine side of dwarves ("it's the beards" ;) )....

Bella, this was insanely creative. I ran out of time to make a hobbit costume this year for Halloween, but you found time to dye 3 different fabrics in picturesque locations and make a red carpet look. Bravo!

I appreciate the absolute effort it takes to get these kinds of shots in remote places: having to pack all that stuff in and out each way, fly a drone, AND dye fabric at the same time. Not to mention to skill in it takes to dye fabric, silk screen messages, do Elvin calligraphy, and put together the "care packages". The whole thing is just so artful and well thought out. This is amazing work!
The fact you can climb on a tree and use a late 19th/early 20th century sewing machine while up there blew me away. I can't even get my sewing lines straight on a normal machine, I wanna get to this level os mastery some day. The clothing, the storytelling, the soundtrack and the whole video, actually, are breathtaking. I loved it!

I love the storrytelling and the effort in this video! Well done! I thought the final outfit would incorporate the shirt with the hand printed fabric, which I absolutely love! I was a bit surprised to see a seventies velvet jumpsuit instead - absolutely gorgeous in and of itself, I mean, I want one lol, just not something that screams hobbit to me. But that didn't prevent me from enjoying thoroughly the whole video, the attention to detail, the organization it must have taken to plan and stage all of this! I'm really looking forward to seeing more of this type of content!

I though this was going to be a sewing video, but it's so much more :) As a huge Tolkien fan/nerd i really like your story for Belladonna Took and i find it deeply respectful and obviously loving of the source material (something i can't say of every Tolkien themed thing i see...). Well, it was actually suppose to be part of the final look...but the colors just sort of clashed! So I improvised and used at as part of the journey!
