How to back flush your heater core

In this video I will show you a rough step by step on how to flush your heater core. I did this in a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS with a 2.4L engine. This process is roughly the same for almost all makes and models. It’s pretty simple. The tools I used were a couple of pairs of pliers. A specific set I bought from harbor freight. But realistically all you really need is a pair of long needle nose pliers so
You can remove the hose clamps. You also want to grip the hoses at the base and twist them with some pliers so that you can break the seal between the hose and the aluminum/metal heater core nozzles. The reason you do this task is so that you can flush all the crud out of the heater core and it will help circulate the water flow again. Rejuvenate your heating and water flow all for next to nothing.
