The only time I can think of where Larry looked exhausted was at the END of his epic 60 pt game vs the Hawks - not ever *during* a game.
It still amazes me how anyone can compare today's game versus the past. There is ZERO defense played now, imaginary fouls, traveling on almost every play and the rules grossly favoring offense....what debate???

Lol, I always get offended. Like Larry is my brother or something. I agree with Magic...there will never, ever be another Larry Bird. All anyone has to do if they disagree, is watch the 15 minutes of Bird is the word. Period.
Luka is never going to be Bird. Bird won his first chip his second year. He was a team leader the moment he stepped on the court.
Larry was a leader. He had a green light and conducted his team like an orchestra. He had an amazing team behind him. A well oiled machine.

After watching Luka's embarrasing behaviour during the playoffs it really hit me that I couldn't imagine Larry behaving that way. At this point I feel that comparing them is being disrespectful to Larry.
Larry was Legend before he ended his 13 seasons in which he played 12 full time. Larry is the real deal, he get it done most of the times! And not athletic, common! In his 6 healthy seasons he dunked, was faster than his opponent's in a fast break and a decent defender. His passes on point and at the right time. Larry Legend🍀33! And like MJ the goat, loosing is not an option! W over any stats, that is Larry!

In 1983, I think. Celtics got swept in playoffs by Milwaukee Bucks. It was the year that some members of the team wanted their coach to be gone. Personality conflicts, I believe. Fitch resigned after that season.
1986 Celtics swept the Bucks in playoffs.
