While the petrol powered race cars are screaming, this one is just humming along. I might be wrong but diesel race cars don't make a lot of noise compared to their petrol counterparts.
What is that car that Peugeot is approaching to from 5:53 to the end of the video? Do you have some onboard footage when Peugeot is accelerating when leaving pit stop?
I still come back to this video from time to time, I love where we are now but I also loved the diesel pre hybrid days

They do, just not in the same way. Petrol revs higher, but Diesel has more power per molecule, creating more torque, creating a lower tone/rumble.
