Unhauling books can be difficult. I’ve started putting books that I have read but do not want to keep straight into a box ready to sell or donate so I don’t have to look for them later. As for books that I want to read but probably will not want to crowd my bookshelves afterwards, I tend to buy the ebook version and read them on kindle (such as crime or thrillers). And I keep my TBR books in a little book cart I bought a few months ago. Easier to locate them and saves space on the shelves. 😉 P.S. Michael Ondaatje is an interesting author, so I would probably give that book a try (never read this particular one though).
Thanks for your comment! It’s very liberating to get rid of books you didn’t like or don’t feel the need to keep! I changed my mind again 😂 after I posted this video and decided to keep the ondaatje book and read it again 🤔 hopefully I like it more on the reread ☺️
On finishing a book if I'm never going to reread it, then I'll immediately put it in a pile to sell or donate, that way it's not taking up valuable space on my shelves. I also don't buy any sequels until I've read and enjoyed the first book.
Have you read much Dan Brown books? I've read like 4 but not the first one, I really liked the one that had about Dante in it - it was fascinating. Ive not seen the film though. A unhaul is sometimes needed, esp books that might have been necessary for school. But also I have a Russian history huge book that i only read parts of for school but keep it just in case someday ... I woud likely love the russian ballet book, so I'll write down the title!
I think I’ve read almost all of them except the last Robert Langdon one. I’ve been putting it off and waiting for him to write another book before I read the last one I have left! 😂 A couple of them I read years ago so it might be time for a reread 🤔 I completely agree with you about unhauls! Sometimes they really are just necessary I think the title was “Bolshoi confidential” ☺️
This is why I keep my read and unread separate, so I have more time before I run out of space.

Oh I’m so bad at that! If I have the first book and see the sequel, often I’ll buy it when I definitely shouldn’t! It’s a bad habit hahahah 😅
Oh my goodness, when you said, “then i have some books about the elderly” I laughed a little too hard. 😂
Hahahah that was definitely a case of speaking before I think 😅😂
