This was taken from my stream on September 28th 2022! Catch me live Monday to Friday here: / northernlion When I don't know what to play, I play Sporcle. It's perfect!
Wormaghetti was by far one of the funniest things I I heard NL guess. Maybe it's that I know pasta names, but it was way too similar to Armageddon and that physically made me laugh.
I said this in chat as well, but I'd love it if for Sporcle you could do something to make your mouse pointer more visible - like make it darker, or increase its size, because as it is right now it's pretty hard to track for me sometimes. Other than that, great quizzing content as always!
Hilarious when he found out Cantona karate kicked a fan, it's not even exaggerated in any way either, that's literally what he did. He was banned for the rest of the season and got charged with assault. Still a legendary player.
I guess there’s just more justification (if you can call it that) than it sounded… just getting a card from a ref and then going out to karate kick a random fan 😅
Quiz be like: For any given mass of O2, at 10 degrees C, how does the pressure exerted by the O2 in a 10L vessel compare to the pressure exerted by the O2 in a 3L vessel? Next question: What is 2+2?
for simplicity’s sake, let’s assume that there is 1 mol of O2 in these vessels and that these gasses are in an ideal environment (makes calculations a lil easier). the pressure exerted within the 10L container is 2.323atm while the pressure exerted within the 3L container is 7.745atm. there is an increase in pressure by 3.334x 😌 the next question though? no clue, you’re out of luck buddy ((this could be very incorrect, i haven’t been in chem since high school so my PV=nRT skills might be… a little rusty to say the least))
10:56 his car runs on bioethanol lol its made by distilling alcohol, in his case wine, and dehydrating it and separating the alcohol from water and other contaminants. Similar to how people get their cars to run on fryer grease. It's all based around Ethanol but it is a lot more on brand for the Prince to say it's wine lol
The Derby fewest points question was wrong in 2 separate ways (a win is 3 points not 2/even if a win was worth 2 points that would still mean 11 points is 2 wins 9 draws not 10 draws) yet he still somehow got it. This man is cracked
"The Power Of Love" question was an intentional misdirect. Huey Lewis and The News wrote and performed that in '85. However, there's ANOTHER song titled "The Power Of Love" which was written by Jennifer Rush, and was covered in 1993 by Celine Dion. It hit #1 in the US in 1994. Kind of a bullshit question tbh
Can somebody explain why he always asks a question, looks in the direction of chat for 5 seconds, then looks away clearly having not gotten an answer? Are there only like 4 people in his chat?
If this is a sincere question, here’s a sincere answer. He averages 8-12 thousand viewers. Not all are chatting at a given time, of course, but a ton of messages flow through in those few seconds. He’s scanning for answers to what he asks, or messages that he thinks are funny, or ones that make HIM think of something clever. Or sometimes he’s literally just enjoying seeing the reaction to what he’s saying. Something to notice in many videos: if he spots a message that he thinks is really clever, he will read it out loud (making it clear it’s from chat). The interaction is engaging. He’s a great streamer. He also manages to make the best of the chat experience translate to CZcams pretty damn well. Hope that makes sense. Cheers.
@@queenofsprinkles I’ll agree that NL is cream of the crop. Probably one of my subjective top 5 steamers. But where do you get that “top 101” number from? And why not 100 lol? From my understanding he isn’t top 100 by any viewer/sub metric, but i could be wrong
@@Bikonito oh gotcha. I looked at stats but forgot about the leak. Ok he’s 101st in revenue. That’s a lot clearer than “in the top 101 streamers” lol Appreciate the clarification
I like the Scandinavia part, buuuuut Iceland isn't a part of Scandinavia, it's only Denmark, Norway and Sweden.... They are a part of the Nordics how ever.
first quiz was kinda dogshit tbh, truman for one, another being that checking concavity is not the only use the second derivative (thats like the "bio" questions about phases of mitosis), arctan straight up looked like they wanted the answer to the equation "What is tan - 1?", derivative != rate of change apparently, speed of light isnt even accurate (if you're giving two sig figs, report with 2 sig figs! 3x10^8 or 2.98x10^8 are both correct, 3.00x10^8 isn't), suffrage != rights apparently, psychologists dont study ESP (they've debunked it, but no one is spending time trying to explain these phenomena that dont exist), and im sure theres more too im just over it
Icelandic is definitely the language that's hardest for the others to understand, but Danish could honestly be the answer too: The common saying amongst Swedes and Norwegians is that they sound like they're speaking with a potato stuck in their throat.
Can I be honest with you guys? Sporcle quiz videos are quickly becoming my favorite NL series.
W take
We just need a constant flow of good quizzes and it's perfect
Many people are saying this
it's 2nd place for me, only beaten by the POGCRAZY react court
@@SimCityOver9000 I feel react court is even more dependant on the topic he finds than sporcle.. It can be very good or really not that good at all.
The way he was bullshitting during the calculus quiz was basically my thought process during most math tests in high school 😂 😂
NL repeatedly saying Tarquinius Super-Bus without breaking somehow got me more than anything in this one
I skipped my lecture in Psych 202: Telepathy for this?
Wormaghetti was by far one of the funniest things I I heard NL guess. Maybe it's that I know pasta names, but it was way too similar to Armageddon and that physically made me laugh.
You won’t be laughing when whormageddon starts
When the sky turns black in the middle of the day and the whormaghetti starts pouring, you already know it’s too late

A simple yellow bubble around the cursor was popular back in the day
Why do u need to see where his mouse is on the screen for a quiz website
@@jacobhorner5008 Sometimes he references stuff his mouse points to by just saying "this", for example
there is dark mode on sporcle, that would help
Windows let's you easily adjust mouse cursor and size. Would be great to do.
Put some respect on Northernlions name for getting that nas sample question right
A true man of culture
The dude who put Telepathy as an area of psych study must have gone to Naropa lmao
I love how he bullshitted his way through the maths one, lmao. Just acting as if he knew and getting lucky occasionally.
Watching the calculus quiz was the most entertaining one. I am learning all of this right now and I loved watching NL struggle
Hilarious when he found out Cantona karate kicked a fan, it's not even exaggerated in any way either, that's literally what he did. He was banned for the rest of the season and got charged with assault. Still a legendary player.

those were some softboiled scandinavian questions

Loved the ancient Rome quiz. S.P.Q.R. is a (audio)book that would be a great add to your podcast rotation, it's smooth
I am a clinical psychologist. We don't study telepathy. I have no clue who gave the creator of that quiz that very strange idea.
Probably the original Ghostbusters movie.
The first quiz is so freaking funny.
It's pretty bad!
chloroxic sodial
Love your content

43:45 To be fair, that's like asking an American where the biggest Ronald Mcdonald sculpture is. Who the fuck knows?
Seeing NL go off on hockey was marvelous

Appreciated.
I share the outrage on that Balotelli one
NL is a knowledge fountain
Wars was my favourite subject in HS
Integrals were the sole reason my grade went from A at midterm to C at finals. Lmao
last time I was this earlier egg was still streaming on youtube
Loved his pronunciation of Superbus
That first quiz pissed me off so much. telepathy???
I definitely feel like NL has a large scandinavian fanbase. Norwegians especially love geography content lmao
You can have Gegertha as a companion as long as all of the spells in your deck only have one mana cost of each color.
1:42 scared me a little
Yeah ESP was considered seriously back in the day. Good times
For once i knew more than nl In a quiz, i'm surprised by the lack of his knowledge about the Roman Empire
Ehmm... I think you'll find Harper Lee wrote Go Set a Watchman (aka the worst sequel of all time) too, thank you very much quiz.

Is NL smart enough to date Austin? How can he deny us the answer to this question
Wine is 14% alcohol, 90% water? 😂
It's a big bottle.
Please install a dark mode extention this is killing my eyes.
Don't you know there was only one president in the entire world during ww2? Duh.
I'm a swede and NL beat my score on the Scandinavia test
Don't feel bad, he beats me all the time on my country's history too. the man is an encyclopedia.
how is he not right w the derivative question wth

Less sporcle, more dome
Less Dome, more Sporcle.
How about lots of both? Oh shit he’s already doing that you dweebs

Terrible quiz, NOBODY understands the Danish.
