- People have found plenty of intriguing things hidden in their homes. Look what this dad found when he lifted a loose tile in the closet of his new home: a secret safe set into concrete. Homeowner Joe DiCresce even posted a photo on social media, "Just bought a house. Found this hidden under the floor. How do I open this?" DiCresce tried to guess the combination, with help from his daughter Rebecca. Remodeling a home in Michigan revealed antique books and a puzzling metal artifact. #InsideEdition

I made a time capsule with money, bits and pieces and a note from myself. Buried it in a field behind my old house in 2007 - I have forgotten where I buried it because I was 11 at the time and that field is still there but pending house development I'm assuming in the next 10-20 years. I don't even live in that town anymore but it's a joy thinking someone might find it one day.

We found a ridden room in my house filled mostly with sand, but it also had picnic furniture, shoebox dollhouses, old newspapers, REALLY old roller skates (the kind you strap on that had a key to adjust them) and a couple other odds and ends. In my brothers apartment we found a safe that had a couple rings inside, including one diamond ring! Our current house also has a safe in the pantry that we’ve never bothered with, I think the previous owners had already opened it so it’s probably empty anyway.

I found a hand written note when I re-did my bathroom! I got 4 little pictures of the people who lived here, the Pratt family. House was built in 1890 and the bathroom was added on in the 50s. That's what I found out from that note in my wall! Drives me crazy thinking about what else could he in my walls! Lol!

You need to be a certified locksmith, or someone with credentials.
You can't simply call a manufacturer and get the code

You can change the whole lock assembly to a digital lock assembly on those Amsec safe. The digital locks for this is a lot safer because it requires drilling to be open.
Don't drill in the wrong area or the Re-locker will activate and then you're screwed.

Well, it's just because more gold was found(probably), the more there is of something, the less valuable it is.
One time i had kittens under my house, and it was 4 of them, with a mom and a dad. 6 cats were under my house.
I can assure you, we thought it would be like 1 or 2 once we heard the meowing, but uh we found a lot more than that.
Also dont worry they were all sent to good homes! I see some of them because some of my neighbors adopted them

I used to leave anonymous stories of my life on the top shelves of closets of houses I was moving out of as a kid. Think of all the treasures that have been lost when an old place burns or is demolished. 🙁. My dads was remodeling a bedroom and when he tore the drywall and old lattice off under it he discovered it is a 2-story log house. We found an old lead melter and pretty wine bottles.

I live in a house made in 1890. The attic is completely finished. One day, I had to lifted a floor board that had come loose. I found that between the floor and ceiling of the story under it, was sandwiched asbestos. I quickly replaced the floor board and nailed it back in place. I have been assured that as long as the asbestos is between the floor and ceiling there would be minimal danger. The fee to remove the asbestos is high so I leave it alone.
That beehive would cause a weird sound for a while likely.

There was probably more in it before. Based on the water, the house probably flooded and when the previous owner removed the safe's contents, they missed the one coin.
