You're fantastic, man! I purchased a fuel ex 7 2 months ago, and it's a dream come true! It is funny because the only gt bike I ever owned bought from our local wholesale store when I was 16, and it was a gt aggressor 27.5 hard tail 21 speed from our wholesale store, lol. But damn, that bike was still great lol Do you have any videos on cat walking or manueling tips? Thanks a lot for all your content! Awesome beans!!!
Believe this was the same day you shared time with a couple young star struck fans and shortly after you left one of them came up to President Lindsay and said "this is the best day of my life." Thanks for being kind and sharing the stoke!
the thing I love about phil as that he isnt trying to go as fast as possible and do the fattest whips he can. He is just generally trying to have fun and make the most out of his surroundings.
Wow, crazy how far Bolton bike park has come along in a years time! Thanks for sharing the shredding and always having such a positive attitude. Your a top notch role model for all the grommets out there. Keep on keeping on
Love the support for Bolton, it so deserves it! Spot on about the green trail: makes the place accessible to beginners and you can link up all kinds of cool combos down now.
The way the adaptive mountain bike traverses the tech stuff reminds me of 4x4 rock crawling. All about line choice and having good spotters. Very interesting to see. Thanks! It'd be cool if the designers could include more clearance in the middle to prevent high-centering.
Bolton is so much better this year than last year. We went on a wet day last year and it was rough. I've been twice this year and had a lot of good fun, it's a nice chill vibe and the trails are in nice condition. Big fan.
Any update for this year? I come up from PA so hard to pass Thunder, Killington or Highland, but a couple guys were talking about it on the lift and said it's pretty good.
Btw, I have been a roadie all my life but I got into mountain biking about three years ago and am loving it. I never ride on the road anymore. I started on a Trek Marlin then upgraded to a Trek Fuel EX7 and I just bought a Trek Fuel 9.8 and am loving it
It's so much fun ... I don't ride on the road anymore. About 5 years ago I could see some girl texting and she was veering off. To this day I don't think she has a clue how close she was to killing me, but she was going about 70 in a 50, head down the entire road and missed me by an inch. Haven't had my bike touch pavement since. Could still crash with MTB but at least you're the one in control, and you're wearing a full face.
I’ve always been fascinated, watching Phil ride. He is the reason I got into mountain biking have been watching since the evil calling bike. Always nice to see when you don’t like something you are like welp time to jump it 😂.
Thanks for showing Hailey, she’s such a good rider it’s just her partner is sketchy so it’s hard to compare but most of us hope to ride as well as she does.
The designer of the sledgehammer is an adaptive rider himself. But keep in mind, most people riding those don't have full control over their body so shifting weight around is not always an option. That being said, Greg is a maniac on his, he flies down the trails.
@@Kingston_H_MTB it would be a massive abs workout to ride in that position and try to prevent your legs from sliding back if your legs themselves can't move.
green trails can be great when you find little things to pop off of. often go with friends that never been before and can get boring if they get scared of the more techy or jumpy stuff. they get there fix and we can hit the side features.
Nice vids Phil! One thought though, just because the green trail bores you, some people ride those because its all they are comfortable doing and don't care about going big or progressing. They just enjoy the ride even on a mellow trail like that.
Not being snarky but what's your point? We all know what green trails are for, and what other people ride is their business. If they're having fun that's all that matters. Your comment insinuates Phil was either unaware or talking down, which IMO he did neither of.

It was just something that struck me in that vid that he usually never does.
Phil are you going to be participating in the EWS at Burke mountain in a couple weeks? That would be some awesome footage I know you would kill it too!
I think that may be true other than Whiteface - not New England but still the Northeast. They are still hoping to bring back the park there in the next few years...
Great video, you should go ride at Jarrods place bike park it’s a truck and trailer system like wind rock! It just opened like 4 months ago, there is a lot of fun jumps and tech you do have to take a 10 minute ride up once the shuttle drops you of for the tech trails but all the jump trails are where the shuttle drops of.

8:10 Maybe a Program called "Gyroflow" could have helped there to resync the gyro data with the video footage. Gyroflow is way better for stabilizing footage than GoPros Reel Steady btw. It doesn't crop as much and the lense distortion feauture is pretty nice and also it is free (open source)
4th! epic, also you should check out fort rock in exeter, nh its not a downhill park its just a trail system but its pretty fun and its not 1 climb and one descent, its climb, descent, climb, descent. I think you would enjoy it and if you do check it out, there is the north side and south side, north is more flow but has some fun jumps (not big but fun) and south is more rocky but has bigger features and is way gnarlier, hope you check it out!
