"Every Breath You Take" is a song by English rock band The Police from their 1983 album Synchronicity. Written by Sting, the single was the biggest hit of 1983, topping the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for eight weeks (the band's only number-one hit on that chart), and the UK Singles Chart for four weeks. It also topped the Billboard Top Tracks chart for nine weeks.
The Shadows made an instrumental cover for their 1986 album “Moonlight Shadows” My version is based on The Shadows instrumental and is currently my 12th cover from this album.

Played on my Fender custom Stratocaster 56 NOS with Kinman Impersonator 54V3 pickups on bridge position. Through an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 programmed with EFTP patch 0-36.
Sound recorded in cubase SX6 and edited with the video’s in Sony Vegas pro 9.

This is a very intricate and fiddly Shadow cover.
I have tried it a couple of times and always get lost where I am in the piece! lol

Hi Dave - I was exactly the same tried it a few times and dropt it. Once I'd made the Tabs out it became more logical - I changed one of those weird Hank sections to double stops and it became easier to follow.
