As a man now in my mid 40`s, I too was that kid in the early 90`s that wanted a king cab, I had to settle for a Madcap, then a Lunchbox. But I am on the hunt for a king cab to finally fulfil a dream!!

that same article and same truck is what got me into RC cars. I saw that bright yellow king cab and I was hooked

I remember vividly that issue of the magazine I must have mowed tons of lawns to save up for that king cab! Then a radio the few more weeks for a charger and battery!! Man the memories hopefully they will do a re-release!
Even at that time my uncle and I went looking for that track that was suppose to be near Orlando and never found it
Eventually I'd love to build one of these up. It has always been one of my dream trucks also especially the factory paint scheme like the one in the ad jumping through covered in mud

Same exact story here! I was saving saving and saving, and the clerk driverted me in the moment of slapping down all of my lunch money for a year to an RC10T instead. Now I finally got one and am complete.

Thanks for the video ive just rebuilt my tamiya txt 1. The bloody thing eats electronics just had to put a huge olde as jesus novak 14.4v esc in it after the super E trucker brand new went up in smoke. The txt1 alongside rockbuster and wild willy are tamiyas greatest.

@David Dollerup That's the only thing I'm afraid of. Tamiya re-release their builds, but sometimes things are different from the original. I would them to change nothing but the gears.
