My question is . ;Am I a loving old soul or loving young soul or something else?;
Perhaps the following can may shed light on my question.
My definition of 'love' is 'creating goodness'.
Somehow, I feel that it is right to state that there are two kinds of love in my life.
(1) Loving the one I share my life with called spousal love.
I had an amazing marriage. Before she departed more 15 years 6 months 20 days ago. she told me we would reunite as siblings. When she was alive, I could not fool around even when I tried. After she departed, I had friends but I did not feel any spousal love for them.
(2) Loving others - non spousal love.
It makes sense to me to love others in humanity. After my wife passed, I decided to engage my retirement time to community enhancing activities which are essentially creating goodness.
Im an old soul that cant feel love in this lifetime but yearns strongly in my gut for the love from another life. It feels abstract

as a very old soul, that's truly blessed with many memories of the past lives and loves lived. I find love to be an integral part of the life experience. And you were correct in your analogy of sex not being as important as the comfort and companionship of those in our soul group. Ive only found this channel today and look forward to watching the rest of your collection.

It's hard to find someone to love if your a old soul. You will pick up on things, and know what's going to happen most all of the time. The best thing to find love is by the the ways you met in the aftermath cannot say it will always work but it's the best way
I find I can love most people but making the kind of comfortable, unhassled connection that I want is what is difficult, so....like many, I tend to be alone.
ibelieve I'm an old soul a it's hard to find someone to love me for myself I'm set in my ways a I love the old fashioned Christian ways.

Yes, I relate to this. I'm an old soul and I'm not into romance or marriage so much these days. As Michael has said, there is a lot of Maya involved. Been there, done that :)

I love your curiosity and thank you for delving into the nuance of the teachings:) I was just introduced to the Michael Teachings from a new (perhaps old) friend. What an amazing person she is. At age 25, her easy wisdom is beyond most I've met. It was a beautiful thing to be in her presence and feel (at age 45) that I had so much to learn from her. I've dealt with depression much of my life--which often boils down to a deep loneliness and nostalgia. This teaching helped me see it in a different light. I've been lucky enough to love very deeply this lifetime and to attract the most beautiful people into my circle. I am soaking it all up so that I can reflect that love and joy back out into the world, this lifetime and the ones to come! XOXO

Mature souls seem to champion nuclear families; old souls the family of man. This means you can love other people's kids and more than one spouse especially if from past lives. There is still a soul mate (agape) with whom you may have been mother/father, son/daughter, brother/sister in previous lives.
Perfect explanation. Those that know and live this type of Love, will always be the heartbeat to infinite and unconditional Love. Beautiful video.

I tried to comment earlier, but before I was finished YT moved to a new vid and my comment disappeared. It's probably floating around someplace, rendering this one redundant. But I said, thanks for posting, would you be amenable to making some vids about baby and young souls? I'm very interested in them because when I bump into them (or they bump into me) I want to get the h out of the way and just let them do their thing, as long as I can escape. I observe my own reaction dispassionately (observation mode). I'm probably a mature soul, not old ("Do it anywhere but here"). I find young and baby souls fascinating, especially baby souls, because their tendency to be self-righteous really irritates me. Which means I've probably been a particularly self-righteous and officious baby soul myself. Again, I really appreciate that you and others are keeping the Michael teachings alive!
Sure, Mazurka, I'll give it some thought. These videos take many hours to create so I produce them when I have the free time. But they're fun to do, so I don't mind.

How about the memory of past loves. You know they are waiting for you when you die so no hurry to find a new love. If it happens then it happens but there is not a desire to seek it out because you love everyone equally.
I appreciated what Michael had to say about Old Soul love and how as we progress in soul age we see a bigger picture of what love is and so love differently. However...I have to say I was distracted by the visuals which were entirely of white, mostly young heterosexuals and of mothers and babies. Distracted to the point of hardly being able to listen to it, wondering when I was going to see something else. Especially as Old Souls, I would expect to see images that represent more of the spectrum of all of humanity...people of color, lesbians, gay men, people who are gender nonconforming, fathers and children, grandparents and children, deep friendships, same sex parents with children, mixed race couples...there are so many possibilities of love that we see all around us all the time. These need to be incorporated in the Michael Teachings. And just so you know, I'm a white person.
Hi Rebecca, I appreciate your interest in political correctness. To be truthful, it's not easy to gather images for themes likes this. You can't just grab them from Google. I only use what's available in the public domain and what I can reasonably afford to license. I did, however, have a lesbian image as well as an Asian, latino, and elderly couple. It would be impossible to include a wider spectrum given the constraints of time. My choices had nothing to do with favoring one preference over another. A couple of the photos were of my own family since aspects of this video were personal.

There are some good sources out there for paid, diverse photos. I also support the original commenter in her views. I too am white. I would really love to see established youtubers like yourself blazing a trail for inclusion. The new age world is taking lots of hits right now (and rightly so) for not stepping out on a limb and changing our behavior--read, spiritual bypass. I support you in consciously putting forth effort and payment where able to provide more diverse imagery of humans in your videos. We must be the change bringers!
