I wonder often what dark dreams
were flowing through my silent mind
and where did all those waters flow
the streams of unrelenting thought?
My refuge was to ask for naught
and dwell aboard where few dared go
A fragile craft in gentle hands
In far-off lonely foreign lands.
That stranger lurks within us all
and it is odd to pause, recall
those dark and brooding times I sought
and inner bitter wars I fought.
And all this frenzy in my soul
as if I never could be whole
as if I couldn't live or die
so many hurting years... gone by.
We've both been through a lot of heart aches along down the road
We've loved, we've lost, and we've also hurt each other...
The fallen tears that we both have shed have not been in vain
Each tear that falls only makes us stronger, giving us the strength to live through the pain in our hearts
But now looking forward, we can start over again
And I know that we may be far away, but that doesn't matter
Cause as long as we love each other, we can overcome any obstacle that gets in our way
So just trust in me, and have faith.

this isolation that I am

I know you are human. You know why? Because no machine can fold clothes. Thats a fact, every piece of clothing is unique and there's always something that it cant fold. We are human, but our society as we know it is removing all of the human in us. We live for money and happiness nowadays, not the real important things in life. Survival, comradeship and efficiency in necessary jobs for our survival and success as people. Not as robots of society, being told what to do. Not taught what to value and need to survive.

I agree with you on that. A lot of people have gone through a lot of pain-- without gaining anything at all.
Then again, experiencing pain DOES make you grow stronger. There was a point in my life where it was miserable. I wanted to die. But then the worst even in my life happened. My family was torn apart. Looking back on before that... It really wasn't all that bad. I've overcome it. I've become stronger, realizing through pain things could be a lot worse.
