I so confused, how Kraven defeated and even killed members of the sinister six... even though his abilities only rely on physical strength... I mean, like electro with its electricity which can kill humans easily, as well as shocker with its extraordinary shock waves, I still don't believe they can be defeated by Kraven

There's a very strong theory (probably even canon) that I found in the comment section of another video. The reason why Shocker was his strongest opponent was because he was fighting for survival, not for taking Kraven's head as his trophy. People and animals would be 1000x dangerous when they're fighting for their survival because they will give everything that they have. So for the most part he was trying to escape Kraven. Meanwhile the other three were trying to kill Kraven. Trying to be the hunter. Their egos are bigger than the solar system. They underestimated him, thinking that he's just an old dying man. But ofc, we all knew who's the real hunter here. Which came another point, Kraven respects Shocker because he's the only one that knows his place. He's the prey while Kraven is the hunter. Usually some predators like a good chase because it gives them adrenaline.
Honestly, I really feel for Shocker the most. He was a criminal, but he wasn’t an evil person and his actions didn’t warrant being hunted down and killed by Kraven.
Vulture was the one that I felt for the most. In the first game we learned he was sick and dying. I was sure he’d be dead at this point in the story. I just didn’t know he’d go out like that.
Shocker fought to live…the others not as much…plus shocker had always used his skills to rob banks and weaker crimes…he never tried using it for a bigger goal like harming others and trying to gain power…so nobody really knew how much he was capable if he was really determined
Kraven also killed Electro and even called him a weakling. Which is funny considering the fact that out of whole Sinister Six Electro has always been the most powerfull member. Also interesting point - Kraven killed pretty much all of the supervillains we've fought in the first game...except for Rhino.
Having Kraven hunt down and easily kill most of the main villains from the last game was a brilliant move on insomniac's part as it really established how the threat that Kraven posed was far above the level of any of the other villains that Peter has faced before.
All the villains in this game are a big step up in power compared to the previous one. Sandman, Lizard, Kraven and Venom would each clap the sinister six.
No, it's stupid. To have Kraven completely overpower someone like Scorpion who's originally supposed to be stronger than Spiderman is a mockery. Even with his peak physical condition and further enhancement through the use of his potions from rare mystical herbs he was only slightly below Spiderman strength wise. Kraven would and should have used tactics in conjunction to his above peak physical prowess to defeat an enemy like the Scorpion!
Shocker's death is probably the saddest thing in this game, he didn't deserve to be killed offscreen like that. I really wish they at least gave us a playable segment where we played as Shocker trying to survive and fight off Kraven, it would've both gave more respect to his character and really show off just how powerful Kraven really was.
Even though knowing that Shocker died is quite sad considering he's one of the villains who isn't even necessarily EVIL, just a guy who robs wanting to survive, it is at least slightly cathartic to know that he was the best opponent Kraven faced, no ego, no arrogance, just will, but Kraven was just HIM
The moment Kraven killed Scorpion... this is the moment that really made you realize the kind of crazy villain Kraven is. With this character in the game, I always mentally pictured a hierarchy of the food chain. Each kill both offscreen and direct made him elevate up the food chain. The ultimate apex predator. I always saw him as the Bane in Marvel. Someone who is strategic, strong, smart, cunning, and brutal, despite the size. Just the violin that plays during his theme song is the most "you're not even on my level, dawg" part about it. He has broken Spider-man in many ways both mentally and physically in previous iterations. A hunter who holds nothing back is the deadliest one there is...
Except he was never that strong, Sure he can pick up someone like Spiderman off the ground by the throat especially after taking his special potions but to have him overpower a cybernetically enhanced villain like the Scorpion singlehandedly and dispatch him with little to no effort is just dumb and lazy.
@@thenickhelms84 Well, tbh, Scorpion was caught off guard here. Poisoning someone usually always seems to work in his favor... until it didn't. It's like Mike's death from AOT. Idk if you ever watched that anime but basically Mike is considered to be the 2nd most powerful solider there. But the moment he came face to face with an enemy he never witnessed before performing feats outside of his comprehension, it's like he became paralyzed at that moment. How do you defeat an enemy you have no idea about or even prepared for? And not only that, but your methods of going about defeating that enemy doesn't appear to work? Oh wait. That's right. You can't. Sure it would've been cool to see Scorpion try to improvise a bit, showing off his cybernetically enhanced abilities and him, at least, not going down without an actual fight. But regardless, him dying the way he did made sense. So Scorpion trying to poison Kraven with no affect on him whatsoever... it only freaked him out like who the hell is this guy?

Sure, Kraven may be stronger than any normal peak conditioned athlete in their prime given his use of physically enhancing substances like his potions, but that only gave hm an edge over almost all ordinary people. To have Kraven literally hold back Scorpion's cybernetic tail. Something I'd imagine could shatter concrete with one blow or pierce steel with one strike of its stinger and not only overpower it, but rip said stinger off with his bare hands and use it against him? Come on!

So they had to make him do different things or else they aren't really justifying him to be the major threat of a villain here at all. He's also a guy who researched all of the enemies before going for the kill, so I'm sure he had something on the backhand to perform that feat of ripping Scorpion's tail and using it against him. I'm sure when he captured Scorpion before releasing him, he looked into that extensively. Then again, this is meant to be something that's not entirely lore accurate to the comics.

Rhino isn’t confirmed dead there was a unused room for kraven that was gonna have vulture shocker scorpion and the rhino as head mounts but they never did it so it isn’t confirmed rhino is dead it is however confirmed electoro is if you look round more on the mj mission where you find vultures wings shockers mask and gloves you also find electros suit with kraven saying what a waste of time he was to kill no doubt rhino will be back for the third and final chapter for this amazing ride along with doc oc and goblin reckon we will get a carnage dlc for Spider-Man 2 at some point also
I really think the main weakness of this game is the main story being rushed. Having half the villains from first game dying off screen really goes to show what a missed opportunity this was. Imagine tracking down kraven on his hunt, but arriving too late as you watch him kill most of sinister six in a mirror scene to the roof beatup in SM1, only here he brutally beats them. Having this character introduced as more powerful than the guys you spent the first game beating up and getting back in cells would have had so much more weight then what we got.
@@skullface5329 it was slightly rushed. For them working 5 years on it, it had a lot of good gameplay features, but the story could have used some work.
Pretty sure that Kraven was immune to most poisons, venoms, and such. That Scorpion decided to just taunt him, while leaving the barb right there... Well that proved how sure and arrogant he was in believing that he had this No Account, rube hunter at his mercy. He was so sure that Kraven would end up dropping him, then he could taunt him with the antidote, and stalk him while striking him unopposed. And just basically what he did to you in the first game. The guy was pretty much an ambush predator in a cyber suit, that was likely spliced into his nervous system. So leaving your tail in reach of an enemy while expecting them to collapse, or at least stagger is really stupid. It showed his thought processes that he didn't just repeatedly stab Kraven as fast as his tail could move, or even try and leverage it to break Kraven's grip... Arrogance, Ego, and Sadism... Bad combination...
He also killed Electro, even calling the fight a waste of time. Like damn, you'd expect someone with the power of electricity to put up a better fight.
It took me too long to realize why Kraven doesn't go after Spiderman or see him as 'worth his time' despite both Spidermen taking out both his goons the villains he goes after. Kraven is looking for an opponent that not only can kill him, but will kill him. And while the Spidermen might be able to beat Kraven, they won't kill him, so it would be a waste of his time to fight them if his goal is death. But villains? Even though they're weaker, they actually will kill Kraven if they can. That's why Kraven never shows interest in Peter or Miles until the symbiote comes into play.
Or maybe it's just a bad writing, and he ignored them because the fight was supposed to happen later. Kraven is not the kind of guy to stop because someone doesn't want to fight seriously. He would find a “little motivation”

In my opinion, Herman Sholts was the most redemahle of the villains Kraven killed. The guy just wanted to survive in the world and, if handled correctly, he could have ended up like tombstone as a normal, everyday guy. His death hit me the hardest in all honesty.
It says a lot that insomniac is willing to kill 3 of their main villains from the last game confidently like that but at the same time I'm 100% that someone is gonna steal their gear and become a villain for Miles to fight because Miles doesn't have jack shit for a rogues gallery.
I know this sounds ridiculous and I know alot of people would disagree but what if they made hobgoblin Miles' Arch nemesis. Every spider needs a goblin right ?? Roderick Kingsley's hobgoblin was mysterious and scary and would be the perfect contrast to Miles' honest and good hearted nature.
@@adiasdiante1010 Personally I want them to invent original villains for Miles, villains that can then be transferred to the comics like how BTAS gave us Harley Quinn and Mr.Freeze's tragic backstory. It drove me crazy how they literally reinvent The Thinkerer for Miles but literally changed EVERYTHING about the character, like at that point just change the name to make an original character ffs its so stupid. Sure Miles could get a goblin foe but I want it to be an original character, no ties w the comic, an insomniac original. I know they can do it. We need to establish Miles a proper rogues gallery of his own, they're already pushing for Miles to be more original and different to Pete, its time he stops borrowing from Petes enemies list too y'know?
I mean all the villains that were killed off have had other people take up their mantles. Vulture has the Vulturelings and Blackie Gaxton was the 2nd Vulture for a time. There was a 2nd scorpion by the name of Carmilla Black. And for Shocker, I think there was a second person that took up the mantle, but there was also someone else that took up the mantle in the Spectacular Spider-man cartoon (Fancy Dan I think). Edit: Someone later mentioned it was Montana, who I also think was the Shocker that died in Homecoming too coincidentally enough before Herman got the mantle in that movie.
Something I noticed after playing the first game again recently is that most members of the Sinister Six, even the more dangerous ones like Scorpion or Electro, aren’t taken 100% seriously by Spider-Man. It’s like they all had a role to play. Even during the boss fights, they’ll quip, say typical villain one liners, get beaten, sent to jail, escape, and the cycle starts over again. It feels like one big game to them. That’s not the case with Kraven. When he showed up, he immediately felt different. That he was no joke. He came right the hell out of nowhere, basically took over the city, and looked at the other villains and goes “really? People are scared of YOU?” Whenever Kraven speaks, he doesn’t exactly quip around with Spider-Man and neither did the latter. Spider-Man will make fun of his goons all the time but he felt legitimately unsettled and intimidated by Kraven. Sorry that I’m just rambling on but I thought it was a nice little contrast with the tonal shift between both games
I don't think Kraven could even capture him. Remember Taskmaster has beaten the Avengers singlehandedly in the comics. I doubt Kraven could win if he was even able to capture him in the first place

It's hardly my favorite. This spider-man don't even stands out I never like this games. I would rather played ultimate spider-man in ps2 the real Eddie brock as venom. A rhino that total chaos.

I'll say i'm glad that Kraven wasn't just a villain hunting Spiderman like he always did for decades or hunting Black Panther (At least from what i know). He was really hunting everyone who were his targets even though Aaron, Yuri and Felicia were lucky to not have tangled with him much.
Tbf, they basically just took this story from Nick Spencer's run on Amazing Spider-Man where he rounds up most of the animal themed villains in New York. Black Cat has a really bad ass moment in that comic that I wish they adapted in here, but they basically just gave that to MJ instead in the game where she tries to free Dr. Connors whereas Felicia tries to fend off Kraven in the comics on her own to keep Dr. Connors son safe(I don't completely remember if that is correct though, I read that comic a while ago)

Never thought this would happen in decades but all this implemented in one game for building the plot was quite impressive. And idk if Spiderman 3 can top that with new future villains like Carnage, Chameleon, Green Goblin and the possible return of Otto Octavius along with more villains to show.
God, Herman didn't deserve this. Out of all the villains from the last game, Shocker always felt like he could have turned his life around and be a normal guy with a normal life, so to see that he died by that monster makes me honestly glad Venom killed him. I guess only a monster could kill another monster.

Nah electro was the easiest for both me and kraven. Electro has the least amount of health in the first gsme and krsven states that electro was a weakling and easy for kraven to beat
I can't express how much this game made me happy to show Kraven off as a potential A-Tier (or S-Tier) kinda villain, he could be. Edited; I am talking about his comic counterpart as he is more of a low A-Tier or B-Teir due to not much story for the characte himself.
As of right now, he is the second strongest villain in spiderman. He killed half of the sinister six and the only one who can beat him was venom. Spiderman without the symbiote wouldn't stand a chance
Kraven killed Peter until the symbiote resurrected him. "Not as venomous as they say" And with the army he has that are experts dealing with superheroes / villains themselves, he's definitely S tier. He and Lizard are the crux that made Venom work. Venom is ofc, stronger than Kraven, but it definitely wouldn't work without Kraven building it up.
Personal theory: the armor and the technologies studied from Vulture and Shocker are probably the bases for the drones and the robot dogs the hunters use in the game
I liked that they made Kraven a legitimate threat, but it did deal very unrealistic that he would have such an easy time defeating Electro when he is the only actual meta human and has the most raw power of the Sinister Six. Like he could literally fry Kraven. Also, I wish they explained more why Kraven was immune to poison and seemed stronger than Spider-man
The game does explain is immunity to poison but you're gonna have to find it first. If you look around the lab (the area where he was studying Scorpion) via Spidey you'll find a rare flower sample. Examine it and Spidey will give a brief backstory about it. Heck later on the game you can find his secrets for his abnormal strengh. I think he prepared himself ahead of time, and made a antidote/antitoxin off screen before taking on the Scorpion.
@@cnarylmaz998 He didn’t kill Sandman, but he was already hunting Marko when the game started, they were trying to kidnap his daughter to get him to fight more seriously. He mentions this in his sand crystals and Kraven has info on him at his base.
lol there’s no reason for kingpin to ever be hunted by kraven, kingpin isn’t the top of the food chain type of villain. just some overweight rich guy with his own private army who calls the shots. even if for whatever reason kraven went after kingpin he would probably bribe his way out with money, information or even tech to help kraven and his hunters.
I can't believe Kraven would kill every last one of Spider-man's enemies, he would never do that in all of Spider-man's stories, and they always involved Kraven teaming up with them because of Doc Ock, but this it's just amazing and a little insane at the same time to me.
Kinda bugs me that they killed off almost every villain from the first game so casually, especially when they all had in debt stories and reasonings, some of whom weren't even that evil. They killed off pretty much all of the most popular villains in such lame manners. Though I'm somehow happy Kraven honors Shocker by seeing him as being almost better, but he failed to fight for anything other than survival, and even in death he can feel Herman's hatred for him
Part of me wanted to see Kraven vs Taskmaster to go at it, before Kraven went for Peter. Definitely think that this would have been at least a very interesting fight between the two.

He was my favorite too. But I have been saying for years that Shocker is way more powerful than people think. And to hear that he put up the best fight against Kraven and was only fighting for survival and not to kill, that's just bad ass and I'm happy to see Shocker given respect.

Shocker is my favorite villian and when I fought him in the first game I was so happy seeing him get recognized. I didn't realize Kraven hunted and killed him, I loved Shocker's attitude and lore; sad he died off screen just like that. I was hoping to see him in the future but I guess not
To be honest I don’t think this is the last we’ve seen of these characters, because if comic books have taught me anything it’s that nobody stays dead and that there’s always some crazy way for them to come back, I mean if hammerhead can come back as a super cyborg I’m pretty sure they can find some way to bring back these four, that said if they decide to go the Arkham games route and have them be dead In The next game, who do you think we’ll fight my money is the big bad is the spot!
Now that Kraven has killed 4 of the Sinister Six members, the only ones left to fill up the ranks are: -Green Goblin -The Lizard -Mysterio -The Chameleon -Sandman -Unknown potential candidate I know there is also Doc Ock and Carnage, but Otto would rather die than work with Norman Again, and Carnage is too much of a loose cannon to deal with.
Dr. Connors was cured. Green Goblin is def the main villain of next game. Carnage and more symbiotes will come aswell. Doc Ock is gonna team up with Norman regardless Sandman still has a rivalry with Spiderman Morbius also exists Also, Vulture has a son.

Another thing people don't mention, he didn't really consider Spiderman a threat until he got the venom suit. He literally kills Peter the first time they meet, didn't even try to capture him or take him serious. Which is kinda weird bc Peter has already beaten all the villains he hunted
According to a rumor: Kraven the Hunter was supposed to be the main villain in the third Spidey film but the filmmakers thought the supervillain should appear in his own solo film first but I think it would have been better if the Bad Guy appeared in a third Spidey film.
I would like to see Kraven DLC where he hunts down Vulture, Electro, Shocker and other criminal contrackts. Maybe I would like to see Taskmaster and Kingpin boss fight. It would be amazing.

Insomniac really did make Kraven the hunter a total badass in this game, he’s not super human in this game but he managed to kill & scare villains with powers

This reminds of the 2014 video game _The Amazing Spider-Man 2_ in which Kraven had kept trophies of some of the Cross-Species hybrids that Peter fought in the first game, _The Amazing Spider-Man._

Shocker fought to live…the others not as much…plus shocker had always used his skills to rob banks and weaker crimes…he never tried using it for a bigger goal like harming others and trying to gain power…so nobody really knew how much he was capable if he was really determined

Having Kraven hunt down and easily kill most of the main villains from the last game was a brilliant move on insomniac's part as it really established how the threat that Kraven posed was far above the level of any of the other villains that Peter has faced before.

All the villains in this game are a big step up in power compared to the previous one. Sandman, Lizard, Kraven and Venom would each clap the sinister six.
No, it's stupid. To have Kraven completely overpower someone like Scorpion who's originally supposed to be stronger than Spiderman is a mockery. Even with his peak physical condition and further enhancement through the use of his potions from rare mystical herbs he was only slightly below Spiderman strength wise. Kraven would and should have used tactics in conjunction to his above peak physical prowess to defeat an enemy like the Scorpion!
Shocker's death is probably the saddest thing in this game, he didn't deserve to be killed offscreen like that. I really wish they at least gave us a playable segment where we played as Shocker trying to survive and fight off Kraven, it would've both gave more respect to his character and really show off just how powerful Kraven really was.
Even though knowing that Shocker died is quite sad considering he's one of the villains who isn't even necessarily EVIL, just a guy who robs wanting to survive, it is at least slightly cathartic to know that he was the best opponent Kraven faced, no ego, no arrogance, just will, but Kraven was just HIM
The moment Kraven killed Scorpion... this is the moment that really made you realize the kind of crazy villain Kraven is. With this character in the game, I always mentally pictured a hierarchy of the food chain. Each kill both offscreen and direct made him elevate up the food chain. The ultimate apex predator. I always saw him as the Bane in Marvel. Someone who is strategic, strong, smart, cunning, and brutal, despite the size. Just the violin that plays during his theme song is the most "you're not even on my level, dawg" part about it. He has broken Spider-man in many ways both mentally and physically in previous iterations. A hunter who holds nothing back is the deadliest one there is...
Except he was never that strong, Sure he can pick up someone like Spiderman off the ground by the throat especially after taking his special potions but to have him overpower a cybernetically enhanced villain like the Scorpion singlehandedly and dispatch him with little to no effort is just dumb and lazy.

Idk if you ever watched that anime but basically Mike is considered to be the 2nd most powerful solider there. But the moment he came face to face with an enemy he never witnessed before performing feats outside of his comprehension, it's like he became paralyzed at that moment. How do you defeat an enemy you have no idea about or even prepared for? And not only that, but your methods of going about defeating that enemy doesn't appear to work? Oh wait. That's right. You can't. Sure it would've been cool to see Scorpion try to improvise a bit, showing off his cybernetically enhanced abilities and him, at least, not going down without an actual fight. But regardless, him dying the way he did made sense. So Scorpion trying to poison Kraven with no affect on him whatsoever... it only freaked him out like who the hell is this guy?

Sure, Kraven may be stronger than any normal peak conditioned athlete in their prime given his use of physically enhancing substances like his potions, but that only gave hm an edge over almost all ordinary people. To have Kraven literally hold back Scorpion's cybernetic tail. Something I'd imagine could shatter concrete with one blow or pierce steel with one strike of its stinger and not only overpower it, but rip said stinger off with his bare hands and use it against him? So they had to make him do different things or else they aren't really justifying him to be the major threat of a villain here at all. He's also a guy who researched all of the enemies before going for the kill, so I'm sure he had something on the backhand to perform that feat of ripping Scorpion's tail and using it against him. I'm sure when he captured Scorpion before releasing him, he looked into that extensively. Then again, this is meant to be something that's not entirely lore accurate to the comics.

Rhino isn’t confirmed dead there was a unused room for kraven that was gonna have vulture shocker scorpion and the rhino as head mounts but they never did it so it isn’t confirmed rhino is dead it is however confirmed electoro is if you look round more on the mj mission where you find vultures wings shockers mask and gloves you also find electros suit with kraven saying what a waste of time he was to kill no doubt rhino will be back for the third and final chapter for this amazing ride along with doc oc and goblin reckon we will get a carnage dlc for Spider-Man 2 at some point also
I really think the main weakness of this game is the main story being rushed. Having half the villains from first game dying off screen really goes to show what a missed opportunity this was. Imagine tracking down kraven on his hunt, but arriving too late as you watch him kill most of sinister six in a mirror scene to the roof beatup in SM1, only here he brutally beats them. Having this character introduced as more powerful than the guys you spent the first game beating up and getting back in cells would have had so much more weight then what we got.
That would be interesting. Imagine Spider-Man watching in horror as Kraven wrecks the villains he struggled to defeat in the past.

1:06 The way my boy Kraven still stands despite being stabbed by the scorpion barb is actually impressive.
Pretty sure that Kraven was immune to most poisons, venoms, and such. That Scorpion decided to just taunt him, while leaving the barb right there... Well that proved how sure and arrogant he was in believing that he had this No Account, rube hunter at his mercy.
He was so sure that Kraven would end up dropping him, then he could taunt him with the antidote, and stalk him while striking him unopposed. And just basically what he did to you in the first game. The guy was pretty much an ambush predator in a cyber suit, that was likely spliced into his nervous system.
So leaving your tail in reach of an enemy while expecting them to collapse, or at least stagger is really stupid. It showed his thought processes that he didn't just repeatedly stab Kraven as fast as his tail could move, or even try and leverage it to break Kraven's grip...

It took me too long to realize why Kraven doesn't go after Spiderman or see him as 'worth his time' despite both Spidermen taking out both his goons the villains he goes after. Kraven is looking for an opponent that not only can kill him, but will kill him. And while the Spidermen might be able to beat Kraven, they won't kill him, so it would be a waste of his time to fight them if his goal is death. But villains? Even though they're weaker, they actually will kill Kraven if they can. That's why Kraven never shows interest in Peter or Miles until the symbiote comes into play.

Vulture has the Vulturelings and Blackie Gaxton was the 2nd Vulture for a time.
There was a 2nd scorpion by the name of Carmilla Black.
And for Shocker, I think there was a second person that took up the mantle, but there was also someone else that took up the mantle in the Spectacular Spider-man cartoon (Fancy Dan I think).
Edit: Someone later mentioned it was Montana, who I also think was the Shocker that died in Homecoming too coincidentally enough before Herman got the mantle in that movie.

Something I noticed after playing the first game again recently is that most members of the Sinister Six, even the more dangerous ones like Scorpion or Electro, aren’t taken 100% seriously by Spider-Man. It’s like they all had a role to play. Even during the boss fights, they’ll quip, say typical villain one liners, get beaten, sent to jail, escape, and the cycle starts over again. It feels like one big game to them. That’s not the case with Kraven. When he showed up, he immediately felt different. That he was no joke. He came right the hell out of nowhere, basically took over the city, and looked at the other villains and goes “really? People are scared of YOU?” Whenever Kraven speaks, he doesn’t exactly quip around with Spider-Man and neither did the latter. Spider-Man will make fun of his goons all the time but he felt legitimately unsettled and intimidated by Kraven. Sorry that I’m just rambling on but I thought it was a nice little contrast with the tonal shift between both games

I'll say i'm glad that Kraven wasn't just a villain hunting Spiderman like he always did for decades or hunting Black Panther (At least from what i know). He was really hunting everyone who were his targets even though Aaron, Yuri and Felicia were lucky to not have tangled with him much.
Tbf, they basically just took this story from Nick Spencer's run on Amazing Spider-Man where he rounds up most of the animal themed villains in New York. Black Cat has a really bad ass moment in that comic that I wish they adapted in here, but they basically just gave that to MJ instead in the game where she tries to free Dr. Connors whereas Felicia tries to fend off Kraven in the comics on her own to keep Dr. Connors son safe(I don't completely remember if that is correct though, I read that comic a while ago)

Never thought this would happen in decades but all this implemented in one game for building the plot was quite impressive. And idk if Spiderman 3 can top that with new future villains like Carnage, Chameleon, Green Goblin and the possible return of Otto Octavius along with more villains to show.
God, Herman didn't deserve this. Out of all the villains from the last game, Shocker always felt like he could have turned his life around and be a normal guy with a normal life, so to see that he died by that monster makes me honestly glad Venom killed him. I guess only a monster could kill another monster.

I can't express how much this game made me happy to show Kraven off as a potential A-Tier (or S-Tier) kinda villain, he could be.

As of right now, he is the second strongest villain in spiderman. He killed half of the sinister six and the only one who can beat him was venom. Spiderman without the symbiote wouldn't stand a chance

I liked that they made Kraven a legitimate threat, but it did deal very unrealistic that he would have such an easy time defeating Electro when he is the only actual meta human and has the most raw power of the Sinister Six. Like he could literally fry Kraven. Also, I wish they explained more why Kraven was immune to poison and seemed stronger than Spider-man
The game does explain is immunity to poison but you're gonna have to find it first. If you look around the lab (the area where he was studying Scorpion) via Spidey you'll find a rare flower sample. Examine it and Spidey will give a brief backstory about it. Heck later on the game you can find his secrets for his abnormal strengh. I think he prepared himself ahead of time, and made a antidote/antitoxin off screen before taking on the Scorpion.
It’s kinda crazy that Shocker gave Kraven more trouble than The Vulture, Scorpion, or Sandman.

Kinda bugs me that they killed off almost every villain from the first game so casually, especially when they all had in debt stories and reasonings, some of whom weren't even that evil. They killed off pretty much all of the most popular villains in such lame manners. Though I'm somehow happy Kraven honors Shocker by seeing him as being almost better, but he failed to fight for anything other than survival, and even in death he can feel Herman's hatred for him
Part of me wanted to see Kraven vs Taskmaster to go at it, before Kraven went for Peter. Definitely think that this would have been at least a very interesting fight between the two.

Shocker is my favorite villian and when I fought him in the first game I was so happy seeing him get recognized. I didn't realize Kraven hunted and killed him, I loved Shocker's attitude and lore; sad he died off screen just like that. I was hoping to see him in the future but I guess not
To be honest I don’t think this is the last we’ve seen of these characters, because if comic books have taught me anything it’s that nobody stays dead and that there’s always some crazy way for them to come back, I mean if hammerhead can come back as a super cyborg I’m pretty sure they can find some way to bring back these four, that said if they decide to go the Arkham games route and have them be dead In The next game, who do you think we’ll fight my money is the big bad is the spot!
Now that Kraven has killed 4 of the Sinister Six members, the only ones left to fill up the ranks are:
-Green Goblin
-The Lizard
-Mysterio
-The Chameleon
-Sandman
-Unknown potential candidate
I know there is also Doc Ock and Carnage, but Otto would rather die than work with Norman Again, and Carnage is too much of a loose cannon to deal with.
The post credit scene makes me think Otto and Norman will work together in the next game

Another thing people don't mention, he didn't really consider Spiderman a threat until he got the venom suit. He literally kills Peter the first time they meet, didn't even try to capture him or take him serious. Which is kinda weird bc Peter has already beaten all the villains he hunted
According to a rumor: Kraven the Hunter was supposed to be the main villain in the third Spidey film but the filmmakers thought the supervillain should appear in his own solo film first but I think it would have been better if the Bad Guy appeared in a third Spidey film.
I feel Vulture may have at least been a mercy- with him having cancer from his flight gear

I would like to see Kraven DLC where he hunts down Vulture, Electro, Shocker and other criminal contrackts. Maybe I would like to see Taskmaster and Kingpin boss fight. It would be amazing.

Your body's immune system attacks poison and venom, cancer on the other hand grows unchecked because the system fails to see it as a threat.
Ummm it’s not that far fetched. We made antidotes to a shitload of poisons but we still can’t cure cancer lol

it's always been a troupe in comics that cancer trumps a lot of powers. hell wade has the best healing in comics but id did nothing to get rid of his cancer.
He went after black cat but didn't challenge the rhino to a fiat fight or even BOTHER to mess with electro. Lol love this game but after beating it, I just now thought of that. And yes he could out think rhino.
Insomniac really did make Kraven the hunter a total badass in this game, he’s not super human in this game but he managed to kill & scare villains with powers
