If you ever find yourself in the Midwest, there's a Titanic museum in Branson, MO. It's in a replica of the ship, and you get a little card at the beginning with the info of one of the passengers and then at the end you find out if you lived or not.
That's how the one in Gatlinburg, TN works too! Edit sorry pigeon forge not Gatlinburg...they are neighbors.
I believe they issue the card at all of the exhibits. I got one when it was in San Diego, and Molly got one here, as well. She lived.

It’s my favorite movie and the maritime disaster is so interesting to study. I did a project on the disaster in school & looking back now, I probably freaked a lot of people out. Oops. 😂

Molly, this video is honestly one of the best, if not the best ones you've done so far. I can tell this subject is really personal to you, and you wanted to "do the Titanic right" by creating the best video you could. I cried when you cried. I love the humor you were able to find as well. Just "chef's kiss" amazing content! You've got something really special here, I enjoy your videos so much! I'm a 1989 baby and grew up in Savannah, GA. The movie Titanic was a HUGE part of my young life. I became so obsessed with the disaster that for my 9th Birthday my parents bought me an antique huge hat in a box and a rose inspired outfit to match. As well as antique suitcase. Lol. I remember going out to the Tybee Pier and pretending I was on the Titanic. Lol. (Not in costume, that would be weird.. I was in my spice girl or Britney attire if I left the house anyway) My Aunt had a house on Hilton Head and she was obsessed with antiques. Her house was amazing, had a ship type theme even including a 2 person bar with porthole window. Let's just say, when you're a child and it's Titanic everywhere you go, lol, it's hard for it not to become an obsession. I'm cured now, lol. But this video brought me right back! Literally didn't know that was possible! I'm going to go watch Titanic now! Haha.

I’m a Titanic nerd like Molly. Went to a traveling exhibition in the early 90’s and was fascinated and bought the Titanic coal from the ship, which I still have. I even own a floor tile prop from the Titanic film when they dismantled it in Mexico.
Fellow Titanic obsessed woman in her mid-30s here. I made my family go to the Titanic exhibit in Pigeon Forge and I was also weirded out by many of the things in the gift shop. I lasted maybe 15 seconds putting my hand in the water. And I cried most of the way through. Thanks for sharing your visit with us. Looking forward to more unique content like this!

Getting to see an exhibit like this through Molly’s eyes was fantastic. Seeing how passionate MAM are about every single thing they do in the videos makes us all come back for more, and this is just more of that same energy. As soon as I finished the video, I locked in going to NYC’s version of this same exhibit.
Molly being emotional made me emotional. This was a hyper fixation for me growing up. I was 11 when the film came out and saw it upwards of a dozen times in the theater. It always a very heavy thing and I always thought I was weird for being so consumed by it (I lost a parent young and always thought that’s why I seemed focused on tragedy/loss). I’m comforted to know I wasn’t the only one who was wrapped up in this.
My five yr old grandson is also obsessed with the Titanic. We’ve bought him so many books. And even a children’s book based on a little boy and his teddy bear who were actually on the Titanic. He’s been to a very similar museum in Pigeon Forge, TN. Right now he is saving up for the Lego titanic. Great video!

back in the late 90's our son's bedroom was decorated with all Titanic things. We even had this chalk board thing that I wrote on it the last menu of the night it sank. We took his obsession very seriously. lol

My son and I were in a musical called “Titanic”. I played first class. It was the most humbling and hardest thing I’ve ever done. The emotions I felt learning all the details and knowing my “husband” was lost forever and to portray that was insane! The respect i now have for the people who both passed and survived is immense!
When I was a child this story fascinated me, fast forward to now, my daughter , now 34 was just as fascinated . This was truly a feast for the eyes, thanks Molly

I was obsessed with the history of the Titanic, long before the movie. I was 16 when the movie came out and I remember being annoyed at some historical inaccuracies. I think that with any tragic historical event, people try to disconnect themselves from the realness. Which is always a problem. History is said to repeat itself, and if you disconnect yourselves from it, how are you able to learn from it? Thank you Molly for doing this. You're an amazing reporter on all types of fronts.
I was OBSESSED with tornadoes (in no small way) due to Twister and Twister ride it out.
And I was also obsessed with titanic due to a book I found about the ship’s telegraph men (the one’s who sent out the sos from titanic!).

When I was in like 3rd grade I voluntarily stayed in from recess multiple days in a row to form a presentation about the Titanic. No one wanted that. I think my teacher was exasperated 😂 I loved this! ❤️

I ran to this video! My obsession with Titanic runs deep! I read one book in 1st grade and 4 years later the movie came out and I was done. Then Titanic Adventure Out of Time occupied way too many hours of my life than I care to admit! It makes you feel like you genuinely know the entire layout of that ship! Such a great video Mam Club!
I’m so happy to hear I’m not the only one that geeked out on the Titanic as a kid. I still remember the first time I heard about it on an episode of Reading Rainbow. It’s engraved in my memory because it made me cry and I also became obsessed. I was so excited when I found out Leo was starring in a movie about it but mostly I was excited to watch a movie about the ship ❤😂😢
I watched Titanic 4 times in the theater as a kid. How my parents took me is a testament to the 90s. I was genuinely obsessed with Titanic and this video did a great job showing the exhibit!

Aaahhh! Molly we love all your videos but my little boy thought this was great. He's currently obsessed with Titanic. We live in Belfast so get to go to the museum here a lot. You would love it I'm sure! It's weird that we have a whole thing dedicated to a ship that sank, but as we say in Belfast, 'She was alright when she left here'!! The last time I was in Belfast we went to the museum. I had to scoot quickly through the part where they played the SOS messages and distress calls. It was emotionally overwhelming. Such an incredible place though. We could have spent all day there and all around the Titanic Quarter!
Oh my gosh, I was convinced my brother and I were just a couple of crazy kids obsessed with the Titanic PC game! We would spend ALL DAY playing it to beat the game, and I did the same as you Molly, I’d just stay in and admire the grand staircase. I really felt like I was inside of it and that music and the sound effects have stuck in my brain. Especially when the ship was sinking. 😳
The fact that you can get the game on Steam makes me happy cause I played it as a kid.

The obsession with the Titanic far precedes the Cameron movie, and several movies and many books were published through the decades long before then. Interest in it has been consistent since it happened. I am Gen X and was just as obsessed as you as a child, many years before the Cameron movie. I think there is just something special about the story of it, the whole message about hubris, and the individual stories of survivors and victims are especially moving.

As a fellow child of the 90s, I too was obsessed with the Titanic, played Titanic Adventure Out of Time and spent way too much of my parents' money on books, model ships and movie paraphernalia though I hadn't even seen the movie. I have been to something similar in TN and there is a portion where live musicians play the music that was played when the ship was sinking and it was, well…beautifully heartbreaking. All the tears 😭. I feel you Molly with those emotions.

I remember the bone museum video, and I waited and waited and waited for more of that kind of content, so it's really great seeing you able to do more now. Thank you for showing us such an insane exhibit. I teared up multiple times (especially when I could hear you tearing up as well!) and then I laughed my ass off with the gift shop whiplash. I'm a 35 year old guy and Titanic was my 'thing' when I was a kid too! I recognised and had most of those books from the bookshelf you showed us at the beginning! I'd build interiors from Lego and make my own movies by sinking it in the bath. I wonder what it is that captivates so many kids with Titanic because it seems to be universal!

I LOVED this exhibit. When I lived in Chicago I went 4-5 times. The boarding passes get a little dark at the end. Not once did my boarding pass have a surviving member. Yikes ( also Heart of the Ocean- in a fish tank???brilliant). I

The boiler room is reminding me of my grandpa, who was an ship’s engineer in the WW2 merchant marine and told us stories of how hot and strenuous their work was keeping the ship’s engines going. ❤💔❤️
What a fantastic video! I worked a side gig on cruise ships for 16 years and the tragedy of the Titanic always loomed somewhere in the back of my mind, it is a heart breaking story, you had me choking up. And as a set dresser who puts together movie sets, I was loving the replicas and artifacts, in fact I have some old White Star Line menus and luggage tags (not from the Titanic). Thank you for this, I will never make it out see it for myself so this was a treat. BTW it was a pleasure meeting you and Alan on the ferry after the after hours event at Magic Kingdom. We had gotten married the day before and between the low guest count in the park and meeting you guys it was a perfect night!
We went to a Titanic exhibit at the Reagan library in LA a number of years ago. It had similar sets, props and artifacts. I agree with you that seeing belongings from actual passengers equally grieved and connected me to the reality of the whole thing more than anything else. Very sobering.
Halifax , Nova Scotia has a lot of history with the titanic. There is a grave yard with bodies from the disaster and the museum has some interesting artifacts as well. I got hooked on learning the history after reading Raise the Titanic by Clive Cussler.
We went to the permanent museum in Branson, it was amazing. If I remember right you held your hand in water and could definitely not stand it that long. And they had a cold room you went in that was the temperature that night. Highly recommend

My 7 year old son is your spirit twin. He loves all things Titanic, as well. He has several books and has seen specific parts of the movie multiple times. There is a permanent museum in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. and I took him there as a surprise one time and he was in heaven the entire time.
When my son and I visited DW in 2021, we did the Titanic Exhibit in Orlando. It was amazing. I’d love to see this one also. Like you, Molly, I am OBSESSED with Titanic. Thanks for sharing this!

That drawing was actually done by James Cameron himself and they had to flip the footage bc he was left handed and Leo is right handed
I would love to see you continue on an exhibit/museum series. If you could ever go to Washington DC and tour parts of the Smithsonian, that would be awesome. Or the Holocaust museum. That place was truly something else.

The lifeboat room, while playing Nearer My God to Thee, was a very somber experience
I went to this exhibit when it was in AZ. I found it so immersive and interesting. I didn't particularly care for some of the souvenirs. I thought those were in bad taste. I loved how you received a ticket at the beginning to find out if you survived. The recreations of the different classes of rooms is phenomenal. I love stuff like that. The actual artifacts are just awesome to see but so sad at the same time.
When we visited Ripleys Believe it or Not in San Antonio, TX they had a section dedicated to the Titanic. Similar to the "ice berg" you put your hand in at this exhibit, there was a container of water set at the same temp as that night. It asks you to stick your hand in & see how long you can tolerate it. It causes so much pain, I can't believe people survived being whole body submerged in that water! All in all, I agree, this exhibit is worth it.
The Titanic is so tragic. I remember getting to see exhibits in Halifax and visiting some of the graves of some of those who lost their lives while there as well. It just truly brings you to tears. I work with cruises now and guests will often ask me why they can't add people to their stateroom when a stateroom can hold other people and I tell them it's all about the lifeboats now. If the lifeboats on the ship are full, then you can't add people. It's tragic that it took all of these people losing their lives to make this happen. But comforting to know it should not happen again - at least due to a lack of lifeboats. I don't know if you've seen the exhibits in Halifax Molly but I hope you get the chance. Maybe take a Disney Magic cruise up there and check it out. One of the best itineraries the town is lovely and they do a wonderful job of remembering those on the Titanic.

I have been to both the Pigeon Forge and Branson Museums, and I have so many books, documentaries and I enjoy learning something new about Titanic as it comes out, like Dr. Ballard’s discovery was a cover for a mission by the government! 😮
I think there is an Expo in Las Vegas as well if it is still there when HHN is finished.
I'm envisioning a Mam Fam trip to Belfast so that Molly can live out her dreams!
Love that you got the chance to share this exhibit with us. I went to the one in Las Vegas 11 years ago and was in awe of what they had. I was 12 when the movie came out, but a die hard Titanic nerd way before that. Now going to have to add this one in LA to the list.

Fun fact - the band that played the Irish Band during the party scene in third class is Gaelic Storm. I recognized the "Irish jig" music they were playing during the exhibit! Fabulous band, and a highly enjoyable live concert experience.
OMG I played That Titanic game too when I was a teenager. I was OBSESSSED. I played it SO MUCH. It gave me inflamed tendons in my arms hahaha and I would sit there taking notes forever and ever. I would play hours and hours. Fun fact.... You can STILL play the game. It is available on the steam platform :D That game was the BEST thing ever!!!!!
You should go to Branson to visit the Titanic Museum there! They let you walk around the Grand Staircase instead of having it roped off. They also have Isador Strauss's wedding ring, which was recovered from his body. Plus the building LOOKS like the Titanic. Like, you're driving around and suddenly there she is and I'm crying.
I live in Belfast, my great grandfather help build the titanic. There’s a huge titanic museum here you would love it, it’s right on the docks where it was built. Love your videos molly ❤

I went to a similar exhibit in Pigeon Forge TN. My mom and I always have had a healthy respect and intrigue for the Titanic. We love the movie and are always ready to learn more about the ship
We went to the one in Orlando… as a fan of titanic and the movie (fellow 90s kid), was expecting that I’ve seen it all. That was until we went through the door to the recreation of the deck looking out into the black night. It was silent. I still get chills thinking about it. Came home and watched ghosts of the abyss and just started crying
Titanic nerd here, I met Ballard and team in the 90s when the first exhibit toured and I was the youngest volunteer then. Went to another tour a few years ago and I have wine glasses and a blanket that I sleep with every night! You showing the spirit jersey is now a major need! So I don’t know what that says about me!

I was so obsessed with the Titanic when I was young, that I had the Titanic on my birthday cake when i was 11!
My son was obsessed with Titanic too. He was about 4 and I made him a cardboard "Titanic" ship that he wore for Halloween and my 1 year old daughter was the iceberg that he kept running into. We also had the same computer game you showed!
Also I don't know what other sorts of exhibits of special interests there are, but I am really looking forward to more videos like this from Mammoth Club.
I got a ticket for April 15 at the titanic exhibit in Los Angeles. I loved your video it was like being there before I go. I went 20 years ago to the California science center and saw the exhibit then. In 1985 when Robert Ballard discovered titanic he became my hero and that is when I became a Titanic nerd. I also have a full shelf of books that I collected and use them when I taught elementary school for 25 years. Great video! I can’t wait to go.
I was about the same age when Titanic came out. My parents let me see it at the theater, but my mom literally threw her hand over my eyes for two parts: 1. The drawing scene 2. The dude hitting the propeller. Hard to watch these days without chuckling at that. Thanks for taking us along to the museum!

Titanic adventure out of time is a classic it's what started my interest in the ship and i've been hooked ever since i've been to the museum and have been watching documentarys and real time sinking videos and the music in adventure out of time is one of the best.
Great video! I need to go see this! Titanic is one of my favorite movies of all time and is just about the perfect 'blockbuster' movie. It really was a masterpiece. I also loved learning about the real Titanic when I was younger. Hard to believe that the 3rd class accommodations were considered luxurious for the day: they look like just rough bunk beds that were just thrown up. It seems like the exhibit really brings home the tragedy. The worst thing is that their fates were largely beyond their control. It must have been terrifying. Also, very relatable that Molly's mother felt the need to protect her from 'naked boob' but not from man's body broken like a rag doll as he falls to his death from the sinking ship. 😆 Loved this content!
Hi Molly, really enjoyed this visit to the Titanic Exhibition. My grandfather worked on the Lusitania which also had a disastrous outcome, as I am sure you know, so I have also been interested in the Titanic story. Your video is the best I have seen!!!

This exhibit would be so cool to see in person. I saw one on Cincinnati around 2001, but I am sure after 20 years there would be a lot more to see. I have been interested since I was first told in 1978, and I barely remember a Saturday morning news bit for kids about someone planning to look for the ship. Many years later I learned that was Robert Ballard. The artwork used in the news bit was in one of his books. When the ship was found I watched and recorded the news every night. I now have a small library of books about the subject.
The footage of Captain Smith was taken in New York City after the Olympic completed its maiden voyage. I read he had no idea what to do in front of a movie camera so he just walked wherever and fidgeted.
As much as I love all the Disney things Molly does the raw emotions of this video makes it my favorite one Molly has made.
Fun fact: The Carpathia almost hit an iceberg on the way to help the Titanic. The crew had to have lookouts on all areas of the ship as the night was very dark and the water was unusually still for the Atlantic, so it made it difficult to navigate in the ice field. The Carpathia was also moving at full steam to help the Titanic so you can imagine how risky it was. As it was, there are accounts of survivors passing away in the lifeboats due to exposure to the cold or water.
The next closest ship that had responded to the distress call was about 6+ hours away. They also sent the Olympic away when it got close the debris field as the Carpathia crew felt having basically the twin of the Titanic appear would be distressing to the survivors. By that point, the Carpathia had already arrived and had been taking on survivors.
I went to the Titanic exhibition in Orlando but we did the dinner theatre option- as a Titanic geek, it was the best $70 ever spent! And the food was incredible! Such a neat experience!
I think you and I are the same age Molly, so I was in the same stage when this movie came out lol. I was completely obsessed with Titanic as a child. It started with the movie, and after seeing it twice in the theatre I absolutely had to have every book on the real story, of course the movie soundtrack and the massive VHS tapes lol.
I did an extra credit project in grade 4 just so I could research more. Using the old school encyclopedias and our fancy new set of electronic ones on the computer 😂
I remember a Pepsi contest where you could collect the caps to spell out phrases and one of the prizes was to go down in a sub and see the Titanic. My cousin and I drank so much Pepsi it was insane.
This place looked so incredible. I think I would’ve been crying half the time. We had a much smaller exhibit here in Halifax, but I love that we have such a history with Titanic. We have a graveyard here with many of the victims.

We had something similar to this Titanic exhibition in Melbourne Australia about 10-12yrs ago. It was amazing. Real artefacts & some re-creations
My brother had a fascination with the Titanic when he was younger (probably about the same age). We did a similar exhibit a few years ago with the passenger cards and one of us got Molly Brown. Great video!
This video definitely was informational and interesting. I don't think I've ever watched the movie in it's entirety (not like Molly's mom cutting out the spicy stuff, but more like I have a short attention span and anything on 2 separate VHS was not my jam), but the actual historical disaster was something I learned about due to the movie. It's heartbreaking. As more and more time passes, it really is important to remember that this was an actual historical event & not just a made up hollywood disaster. I think this video did a really good job of showing off Molly's love for the movie while also sharing the exhibit.

I’m a huge titanic geek too and the first time I watched the movie pretty much everything went over my head 😂 The second time I watched I was a bit older and let’s just say young Leo was my 🌶️ awakening. It’s now one of my all time favorite movies

I remember playing that game. I’ve been to both exhibits at Orlando and Branson. Orlando reminded me of this one on the outside as it’s just a regular looking building. Branson actually looks like the front of the ship and you can walk down the staircase!
Although the sinking of the Titanic was a great tragedy, without it happening just think of the many more lives that would have been lost if safety protocols had not been put in place. After the sinking there has to be lifeboats to fit all passengers, safety drills and they monitor the ice. They were way too vain and narcissistic in building that ship! I'm still amazed at the ornate beauty of the ship but that fact that vanity had precedence over safety of its passengers is just heartbreaking. Thank you Molly for taking us on this experience with you. It was informative as well as fun. I hope to be able to go there to experience it someday soon.
I was there valentine's day weekend. It was so amazing and heart wrenching at the same time.
