- It took me 30 years to realize that everything I was doing with money...was wrong. One of the biggest mistakes we make with money is that we think 'SAVING' is the best thing to do with it, while what we really should be doing is to not just let it sleep in the bank, but to MAKE IT GROW.
I have JUST started getting into learning about #PersonalFinance, #Stocks , #MutualFunds and #Investments but if you're 16 or 18 or 22 or whatever age, start learning and gift your older self a better, richer life.

I am 30. And work in IT field. I think the same when It comes to investments. I got my first salary when I was 23. If only I started at least when I was 25 my current portfolio will be 5x. But I started investing just last year! For many years I did not realize savings and Investments are different things. It is good you talked about this. And it is never late to start investing. Keep it up Bro!

And all the stocks that I bought multiplied like crazy in a few months...Good thing right. Expect I invested 100s and 200s in buying single stocks from 10 different companies. Sad life.

Value intesting is too buy stock that is under valued. If someone bought tata steel in 2007 you will have negative returns even now.
Look at lost decade of s&p 500. If you invest now you may get some gains but its not optimal. A good portfolio has to give return in 10 years. Then only Holding more than that also will give more return.
