You point about atlee was spot on... Even though im a thalapathy vijay veriyan since birth, i can't even watch bear to watch Bigil for one time... But you know what., i went for the second time only becoz my mom asked me to take her to the film(even though i was into my mobile thoughout the film). But things got different when we went to watch Asuran. I was so into the film that i got back pain the next day as i was in the corner of my seat throughout the film. The thing is my went Out of the theatre even before the interval saying the movie was so dark for her. You're correct dude, this atlee and rohit shetty guys knows the pulse of family audience...

Great video Raunaq but imo Having a connect with an audience is a thing but selling a guy a bad product but making him believe it's good cause it has one thing the guy likes, is not a good business model. Atlee is exactly doing it with a star like Vijay. Like how you won't sell a shtty T shirt and price it at 10000 rupees cause Rajinikanth has signed on it (Not to mention you won't plagiarize every design of the shirt like...Lee). Great video otherwise!
Thanks a lot but regarding ur point...'good' or 'bad' is very subjective when it comes to cinema. I personally don't like his films but I personally have overheard a lot of people who love his films and actually didn't like #Master. Who are we to judge what other people should like or not like🤷♂️
It is different from selling a shitty t shirt because it then comes to quality and there r clear set standards for it.. and also if rajinikanth has signed on it..it's not even a t shirt anymore...it becomes something else.
The plagiarism bit...I don't know really. I don't think anything is original in the world. Everything is a copy of a copy. If you repackage it and reinvent it in a way people like then I don't see what's wrong

Insipiration and blatantly stealing each frame from something is... idk atleast he could've given credits to a source(One of many examples is the opening scene in mersal where he saves a woman using a credit card was just stolen frame by frame from the good doctor) Well anyway it's subjective as you said and I don't want to waste the time of the CEO of India's biggest film merchadise chain by replying to random comments :)

In the video Fullly rewind 2018 @2.44 you've stated that 'Kadhaya sudrathu is vera oruthar's department and showing ARM there. But your philosophy is everything is a copy of a copy. So I think it was unnecessary to call out ARM's copycat work there.
