Thurne Mill at sunrise | Landscape Photography

Join me on a sunrise trip to Thurne Mill on the Norfolk Broads.
I didn't get any mist or fog, but the calm water made for good reflections, and a little colour broke through the clouds eventually.

Nice images, James, despite the limited light. I liked the shot through the reeds (it sounds like you weren’t very pleased with it though…). I’d thought about some astro from there before, but I suspect with the combination of Great Yarmouth, Norwich and Bacton refinery, together with local light from the boat yards, it might be a bit disappointing.

Hard to say, I agree it would be a nice subject but there's definitely bright stuff nearby... Perhaps low and close looking up? Summer milky way would probably be hopeless as you'd be aiming right at Norwich I think...
