No one's gonna mention how big shohei was this game? on base 3 times, that stolen base turned out to be a huge run, then bottom tenth game tying RBI.
That stolen base is what essentially won the game for them. Without that run they lose in 9 innings

For sure. Could have been 3-2 going into the 9th, that's why baseball is great small things matter. Every out can make or break a game

Gavin Stone is becoming something special. I would love to see him "stretched" to 100+ pitches soon. He had a legit shot at 8 or 9 IP tonight. Teoscar Hernandez needs to be locked up long-term ASAP and Pages shows every sign of being here for the long haul. This team is shaping up nicely.

Everybody talk about the walk off but I think the pick off and the stolen base were the most pivotal points of the game. All would have been loss and it would never have made it to extra innings.
Pages 📃📄 average up to .333, 4 hits to Braves 6. Grove scoreless extra inning,. Stone 1 run 6 innings (could've gone 7, only 86 pitches). Both Ohtani & Pages could've walked in extras, but swung at pitches outside the zone because they were determined to get a hit, and they did. Great to see other guys stepping up on a night where Mookie/Freddie had 1 hit. Get the sweep, give Glasnow run support - Go Dodgers! 🧢⚾

2:42 I’d missed that sound. The Dodgers are home, y’all. And this was the kind of game I love best: It could go either way right up until the very end. I loved the team effort from the LADs here-there was just a lot of good work done, by both teams.
Hernandez’s homer, Ohtani’s stolen bases (love to see that little reaction from him at 9:33, too) and lastly Pages’ battle of an at-bat made this game a treat the whole way through. And I liked how he handled that, too. He didn’t swing for the fence, all he needed was a base-hit, and it was handled professionally. It’s really inspiring to see such confidence from a rookie.
By the way, digging the Star Wars vibes on the organ. 😎

That was a clear adjustment by Pages on being jammed inside. Great reflexes in an intense at bat. You can see him track the pitch all the way to his swing. Hope he keeps his head about him.

Its very dumb. I'd rather they just play normal baseball and if its still tied after 12 innings just make it a tie. Hockey has ties, so does soccer. Even nfl has ties in regular season
