Please just saw your video omg it's beautiful. Everything is coming out soo beautiful. Was helping my mum finsh her hse and the person who did the roof and ceiling is falling apart. The ceiling was done with a kind of sheet that generate so much heat. He didn't do plaster board or pop. Was disappointed 😞. Now I have to spend another money to do a new roofing and ceiling. Am thinking what is the durable of plaster board and pop as am torn between the two to use plz advice thank u
POP takes longer time. If the house is already occupied, then plaster board will be better. It will take less time and less dirty. God bless you for helping your mother. Keep pushing ahead. As for the disappointment, is it the norm unfortunately. One of these days I will share my disappointments. I am very detail oriented and I know for a fact that my presence has made a big difference.

We started this project in 2014 when the exchange rate for the dollar was around 3.16 ghs. The price of cement was around 15 ghs. So the breakdown will not be as valuable or meaningful in todays world. With that said, we have spent over 150,000 dollars thus far. I am involved in the buying of the materials and also stay on site until each phase is completed. Last week I got the estimate for the INSIDE tiles and it came to about 22,500 dollars. Everything boils down to your taste. The quotes for glass balustrade was between 12,000 to 15,000 dollars. I prefer to take my time and use quality materials. I hope your question has been answered. Due to time constrains during my visit, POP was never considered. I honestly cannot answer to the cost effectiveness question. They are both good but a lot depends on the artisan in terms of a quality work. Almost every artisan will say that they can get the job done but only a few can execute according to your taste. I personally saw Kwasi's work before getting him onboard. I usually take estimates from 2 or 3 different artisans before making a final decision.

I bought everything locally at Ashiama round about. Ask for the store that sells Plaster board. Unfortunately I do not have the stores name.

Aluminum but coated with sand. I am also closed to the sea. It has been 5 years and there is no issue.

Did you sand the walls before plastering and then adding the compound?
No it was the other way around. Plastering, adding the compound, sanding and finally painting.

What was the reason for the black paint?
Prevents water from seeping into the walls. Not 100% effective but we used it for extra precaution.

Absolutely in my opinion. A clean interior is my goal and it is easier to achieve it this way. Going from top to bottom.
