Hello friends, today I am camping in the tropical rain forest. I arrived at the location and was greeted by a light drizzle and then it rained heavily until the night. and when I camped is the month of Ramadan.
so I fast and eat at certain hours of the night and early morning.
I prepared iftar with chicken steak and roasted cabbage and a sweet drink of course. then at dawn I eat a simple meal with milk oatmeal mixed with bananas and dates, then drink hot tea.
really a very comfortable atmosphere..

Absolutely have to appreciate the time and slowed pace taken when camping by yourself. No rush to do anything, just enjoying the weather, nature, appreciating the time to setup the shelter in the rain,taking time to cook and eat. Really makes you enjoy the outdoors.
I love the rain when I'm not outside but inside knowing I'm not getting hit with the water is a awesome feeling I also enjoy when it snows as well

That rucksack seemed to carry a never ending amount of items! Apart from a tent, ground sheet, light, sleeping bag & half a kitchen - Table stand, cutting board, cutlery, stove, pans, plates, food items! Home from home. Hope you were rewarded with the product placements! The patter of the rain on the tent was very ambient. If stayed dry inside it would be nice to spend a night in the tent.
I love looking at this while I’m laying in bed.. It really helps me relax and fall asleep faster

bears are very rare here, the wild animal here is a leopard. but the leopard stays away if there is a human. but i have to stay alert
Then you got attacked by a scary human eating bad looking monster with the lower part of the mouth hanging..

Can’t relate on how enjoyable this is. I’ve done several JRTC rotations in Fort Polk Louisiana and it poured for 30 days straight and being wet and cold and having nothing dry is uhhhh awesome. I love it
