I've been replaying Prophecies the last few weeks. It was my fist MMO and still to this day I've never experienced a story, a true journey of this epic proportions. And I don't think anything will ever surpass it for me.
These lore videos are really well put together and do not get the love and views from the GW community that they deserve which is so sad. Keep it up Herald, those of us that do see these videos love them so much!
When you're commenting videos like guides and gameplays, your voice sounds too soft and phlegmatic... But omg it sounds so great while talking about lore, i literally had shivers.. and those cinematics are so greatly edited together, even though they are used for completely different purposes, it made me really see those battles... I've been playing gw2 since its beginning 4 years ago, but those were new things to me, like, i knew that Kihlbron sank Orr to destroy charr army and that Glint aided Destiny's Edge to fight the dragon, but when that mursaat appeared at the beginning of season 3, i was like wtf is that thing? Thanks so much for explaining and keep up the amazing work!!

No need to thank for the truth ;-) and do you plan to make guides for things like raids and FotM stuff? I'd love to see those, because I am not really geared for those and I don't know where to start, and the way you can explain things, it would be great! I guarantee you that one day soon you'll be among those legends of gw universe like woodenpotatoes and aurora peachy!

The narration, the visuals, the cohesiveness, everything was impeccable! Truly brilliant work, and we can only wish for more content creators such as you! The only way I could see this video improved is if you would have provided video footage from the original (for example on Glint's or the Lich's dialogue bits), maybe with a filter on top to fit the art style, but you managed to showcase creativity by portraying old stories through Guild Wars 2's assets, and I believe that was actually your intention xD!
One little thing about the lore, you mention that the Lich Lord had to be killed several times to charge the Soul Batteries, but I recall that he only resurrected if killed while not standing on the bloodstone (which had powers related to death magic). Interesting interpretation nevertheless!
Again, brilliant video! Really glad I stumbled upon it! Gosh, I'd love to see a collaboration between you and WoodenPotatoes some time down the road, your voices combined would deliver marvellous storytelling. Keep up the amazing work :)
Thank you for your kind words. I have tried to marry the old lore with the new game. Its hard when there are not equivalent assets, I tried to span the gaps with art work and location shots, but was not always happy with the outcome.
As to the Lich - From the wiki - He can resurrect with full life from one to three times, every time accompanied by two Fists.
I'm a big fan of WP, he's a brilliant story teller, and knows the lore of this game better than most. I hope he brings back his lore video series.

I have a question: since there is no one charging the the door of Komali in 250yrs shouldn't the door eventually lose power?
This problem was solved by the events of the Nightfall campaign.

Story telling is good. But, are there sleeping children inside the room? Please do not record those videos in ASMR style. Give distance between yourself and the microphone and speak using your diaphragms, do not whisper. I'm here for listening to a story, and I'm not trying to sleep. Maybe it's just me, but It gives me cringe.
Sadly this is just how I speak, I'm softy spoken, its no asmr its just me. I have the microphone almost pressed against my cheek when recording and boost the output once its recorded. Sorry you did not have a better experience. Take care and thanks for watching
