Black people in Dallas in particular tend to be very low key about their existence. This is because we are told that we are country and boring. I was believing it until I started visiting other cities and realized they were just as boring. Dallas is as good as any of them. Now Atlanta is an example of a city that everyone hypes up. In my opinion, Dallas is a great city to live in without a car, because they have a great public transportation system with trains (referred to as light rail), buses and let's not forget Uber. I drive, but I hate driving on the freeway and will always opt for public transportation and Uber if I'm going downtown or further out.
