With most of my hometown of PASIG already paved with concrete, there's not much of this song people there can relate to. I grew up in Pasig when large tracts of lands were just rice fields. I know because we played in them when we were kids - fishing, swimming, frog hunting, carabao rides, kite flying and everything kids did when we had nothing but time on our hands.
This is my go-to piece when I want to play some uplifting music. I love this arrangement (with a few of minor adjustments I made) and it's one of those pieces that just sits inside my memory until such time as I need play it. I hope you like this rendition because it is rare for me to play it live, let alone play it well enough in front of a crowd.
