It’s quite frustrating to mistakenly delete a photo/video from your Android phone. So, how to recover deleted files from android phone? There are several methods for you.
Timestamps:
Method 1: Retrieve deleted Photos/Videos from Recently Deleted Folder on Android 1:56s
Method 2: Retrieve deleted photos in Android via Google Photos 3:04s
Method 3: Retrieve deleted photos in Android via Google Drive 3:59s
Method 4: Restore Deleted Photos/Videos from Android SD card without root 5:02s
Method 1: Retrieve deleted Photos/Videos from Recently Deleted Folder on Android
Step 1: Launch the “Gallery” app on your Android device.
Step 2: Tap the three dots at the top-right corner and select “Trash”. The name for the “recently deleted folder” can vary for different devices.
Step 3: This will list out all the photos/videos you’ve deleted in the last 15 days.
Step 4: Choose the file that you want to restore and tap the “Restore” icon at the bottom of the screen.
Keep in mind that photos/videos will remain in the “Trash Bin” for only 15 days. So, if you want to recover older files, you’ll have to choose the next methods.
Method 2: Retrieve deleted photos in Android via Google Photos
Step 1: Open the app and tap the menu.
Step 2: Look for the “Trash”/ “Bin” option. You will see the deleted data there.
Step 3: On finding the one you need, long press it and tap on “Restore”.
Method 3: Retrieve deleted photos in Android via Google Drive
Step 1: Launch the Google Drive app and log in using your Google account you use for backup.
Step 2: Tap the menu and the list of photos/video will come on the screen. Simply choose the one that you need and get them downloaded.
Method 4: Restore Deleted Photos/Videos from Android SD card with Recoverit data recovery
Step 1: Connect your SD card to the computer, then launch Recoverit data recovery software and select the “SD Card” as the location to recover data. Click on “Start” after that.
Step 2: It will perform a thorough scan to find all your deleted files on the SD card.
Step 3: Once the scan finished, you can preview the target file and click to recover it.

How is this helpful?! It's so simple. Show us how to recover files from the phone that were permanently deleted, that you mention in this video still exist if they haven't been written over...

Will this work on a Android Legacy Sr? It's pretty cheap phone but I can't recover a video I permanently deleted with any of the first 3 options, still yet to try last option because I don't know if it will work with my old phone

Hi, sir! I hope you can help me. I updated the system of my phone (VIVO) to the latest system update. After the update was installed, I haven't checked all of my files (audio, video, and pictures). Hello I have a problem so my phone was full storage so I deleted some files to free up space but after I deleted those file Some of my pics and vids had the exclamation mark and then when I refreshed the gallery app ALL my photos and vids are gone except the ones from my sd card and none of those are in my recycle bin I'm really worried that I wont get them back 😭 is there a way?

*There is a big problem though if you delete your photos from android when it is connected directly on a PC through a file transfer mode. This was my case:
- Plugged my phone to a PC.
- Put it on file transfer mode.
- Made a folder on my PC Desktop.
- Cuted 500 photos from my phone folder.
- Paste it on my Desktop (outside of folder by accident)
- I stopped in the middle of paste and pressed undo on my PC window.
All pictures that were affected by undo were gone from my PC and my phone and none of these options found it again.*
Its like a big disaster and hope you guys are more lucky then I was. Only one app found those deleted photos on my phone but it was a catch .. they wanted a payment and I cant do payments.

Have you called a data recovery service yet? I did and someone said that my files were lost for good since I've used it and restarted it a few times.If you left it alone after losing it, you might be able to get it back, but I don't know, since it's almost been a year. If it was saved on an sd card, you should be good; if it was saved in the internal storage like mine was, then it may be gone for good like mine are.

issue: i connected my phone via xender web to my pc, i was dragging a movie into my phone's local starage, and it was showing on screen but was not really transfered, bc i was seeing a popup saying 'error', so i deleted with the delete button(locates with all those download and all buttons on left upper side) shows on xndr web screen, i deletd the file and it showed up again so i deleted it again, but i don't know how i accidentally deleted a folder which contained 4gb of movies in it, now i want to recover that folder, is it possible with this recoverit software? if yes please tell me how, beacause it was on the local storage. i connected my phone but it's not showing in recover it screen. i dont know its not recognizing or what. please help

@@rubinasattar4364 I just downloaded this software (Recoverit) to recover my deleted files from my phones SD card and this is the result:This software recovered only 20% of the photos and videos. In those 20% of ''successfully'' recoverd photost most of them are damaged (part of the pictures are cutout) all the movies stop wortking at 3/4 of the timeline. So this is what i get for almost 70€.... :/
