  • A look at AJE's front suspension kit for foxbody mustangs + EXCLUSIVE fox mustang "game changer" product announcement from AJE.
    Check out their MODULAR Y2K-member! With EcoBoost 2.3L motor mounts, Coilover kit, front tubular A-Arms and Strange Struts. Their K-Member allows you to swap engine mounts without changing the K-Member! They even have Godzilla mounts.
    Project EgoBruise our 2.3 EcoBoost 1979 fox coupe is getting a massive front-end upgrade, in what I think is an "Industry leader" in components for our fox mustangs.

      The AJE has more clearance than the MM for headers. The only issue I can think of is that the MM K member changes the geometry of all of the front suspension. If you have a set of Kooks built specifically for the MM k member you may run into some fitment issues

      AJE gave me this kit to video and contribute to the build, but I was given nothing special a paying customer would have received. • @HOUSEOFDULA
      @HOUSEOFDULA  Před 2 lety +1

      Yeah, this is only an issue with the 79-81 models I think. And no need to drill just kinda widen out the rear. You COULD redrill the cars fram, but I opted to just grind the clearance from the K member itself. The front driver side hole will help center it.

    The choice of k-member very much depends on usage. For drag racing, a lighter k-member may be adequate. But if you're road racing a heavier car with sticky tires, you'll need a much stronger part. All k-members are definitely NOT created equal.

    • @HOUSEOFDULA

      This is very true. You'll notice a difference with say t he MM K-members vs this one. AJEs are geared towards street and drag racing it seems, although they sell a kit that adds arm to this for more of a road race car as well.
